Came in to get my board tuned and had some questions about tuning it myself crow their tuning guru literally spent an hour answering my questions and demonstrating things. Showed me some good products and never pressured me to buy anything

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been shopping here for years and the service and product knowledge used to be fantastic which is why I kept going back. Luckily I did my research prior to going in this time because the kid working there didn’t know his product and wasn’t overly eager to walk downstairs to look for stock nor call the other stores until I requested him to do so. I even had to google and show him that the other stores carried the product. Even worse I brought it up with the manager when picking up my skis and she rolled her eyes and told me to have a nice day. Difficult to inspire staff to take pride in their job when there is poor leadership at the top. Good management would want to know so that the client experience could be improved if there’s issues. Perhaps the effects of covid and difficulty finding good staff. I’m all about supporting local but I can see why more and more people shop online.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I brought my snowboard in for a tune and wax, told them my board had magnetraction edges which I would like to keep. They gentleman behind the counter responded with "sorry to hear that".
My snowboard was then returned to me without magnetraction edges and my bindings were off by a couple degrees and also there was a gash in my board on the nose, as if they sawed into it by accident. Meh experience overall, did a great job with the wax though but definitely will not be returning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Despite being in a busy time of year they ensured I would be ready for the hill by the weekend. I was quite surprised at how affordable a waxing for my board was. Will definitely be coming back here for future tune ups and gear.

In our case, we bought snowboarding gear for my son, who was getting back into the sport after a three year break.
The next day, out on the hill, he dislocated his elbow and needed surgery. So his season was over. (FYI: He's recovering well)
I didn't have high hopes, but I took the 2-hour used gear back to Ski Cellar. And, because the gear was in like-new condition, we got a full refund!
Completely unexpected! So needless to say, I'll be back to Ski Cellar when we'll try the slopes again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing service! Three staff members greeted me as I entered; I wasn't sure whom to answer first. Joshua spent close to 2 hours helping me find the right snowboard boots and bindings running up and down their storage for different sizes and models. He consulted his colleagues to give me the best possible advice and even doubled-checked their pricing binder to find a package deal to boot. Terrific experience! Staff was knowledgeable and ready to serve. I'll see them again.
