Everyone who helped me here was so friendly, and Jenay let me take my time deliberating at the appointment; I didn't feel rushed or pressured at all. I called back a few weeks later to purchase my dress and they were lovely and congratulatory over the phone. Jenay also called me when she got in to congratulate me...such a sweet gesture! It was a really positive experience, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding dress!

Great prices, the staff was great, and I loved the design of the store, back wall was really cool, however it was a bit dark so hard to see the colours on off-white dresses, and there was no mirror in the changeroom (although the reaction from friends before I could see was also kind of cool!). Would love if there was brighter lights or more light could come in through the windows, and more mirrors! Some super great prices though! & the rental denim or leather "Just Married" jackets were really cool too.

She was so right. The dresses are in perfect condition. I found my dream dress (a pronovios dress) at a price I was comfortable with. I never expected it, but I walked out of the appointment with my dream dress. Shout out to Alyssa, who was kind, patient and down to earth. She was not pushy, or “salesy”. Don’t sleep on this place!!!!

The store had a large assortment of dresses in a wide range of sizing and offers both previously worn dresses and dresses that have never been altered or worn to a wedding. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dress!

I started my journey at a bigger standard bridal store and felt rushed, squeezed into small sample sizes and pressured to make quick decisions. I left that “boutique” feeling disappointed and overwhelmed. That was soon fixed when attended my appointment at Sixpence. There was time to browse, chat about my wants and needs, ask for advice and try on dresses in my size! As a bride who is doing this process without her mom, the associate recognized my feelings and quickly stepped in to offer support with everything from suggestions on dress cuts that would flatter me to veils and jewellery options. I walked out empowered and loving my dress! Fast forward to three postponed wedding dates, and having a baby, and I was back at Sixpence searching for a new dress that fit the new me! The care was again above and beyond and not only did they offer to consign my first dress, but I left with a dress I love (and bonus is made by a fellow female entrepreneur)! The owner Jackie cares about her clients and takes the time to listen to what you need. Even better, her mom also works at the shop and was so helpful when it came time to choosing my dress. Maria in alterations is quick to suggest fixes and the costs are reasonable for the true modern bride! I’m so grateful to have found this shop. I wish all my shopping trips felt this amazing. The female economy is magical and cheers to Jackie for creating such a safe and exciting place for brides!

(We ended up dismantling a mannequin! ?) They made me feel at home the entire time I was there. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience!

The sales staff are helpful and really make you feel comfortable & special when shopping for your big day. The biggest shout out goes to the Sixpence seamstress Maria. I met with her about 5 times before my wedding. I purchased a dress WAY too big for me with a lot of detailing I was hoping to preserve in alterations. She was incredible! She was so patient, listened to everything I asked, knowledgeable and incredibly talented. Plus, the price for all of her time/effort was very reasonable. Maria made my experience with Sixpence above and beyond. I received SO MANY compliments on my dress. Thanks sixpence for everything!!
