D	Dianne Levine on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So sweet to return to Sir Sam's ski hill. It was overcast and just above 0 degrees and excellent conditions! Love the half day passes to start first thing and finish at noon to 12:30pm with a Real Cappuccino! Can't wait to return in a couple of weeks! Still the Best kept secret in Haliburton and congrats to New owners and upgrades. So family friendly too.
P	Penny Farinha on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing time at Sir Sam's Ski/Ride! We went for 2-days in January for skiing and everything about it was great. Our kids had private lessons - instructors were great (especially Ryder!). The facilities are wonderful with lots of extra touches like a fire pit, wide menu selections, hot chocolates etc. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

We as a family wanted to learn skiing and it was our first time. Our instructor was a young lad called Nate and who was every patient and helpful. The person named Randy who helped us choose our rental boot and ski had a very good knowledge of all skiis. Their rental selection is all very extensive so you can find your right fit. Surely planning another trip here
C	Christopher Roth on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Long time customer (20+ years) returned after a pandemic hiatus. Was happy to see some complimentary gift certificates issued 2 years ago were still honoured. Was nice to see the new owners haven’t made drastic changes: a coat of paint on everything, new feel on the lodge upper level (prepare to pay more for poutine and a beer), and very friendly staff. Skiing conditions were good. The upper half of the Time Tunnel carpet is broken so that makes access to the left side of the hill a little challenging. The ski cross course isn’t in this year, perhaps the weather didn’t bring enough snow or no attempt was made due to the pandemic. Lifts operated well but they really need to consider fixing the heights of the chairs to the ground, the chairs often pinch my boot to the ground, a little more height, an inch really, would solve that. Will return again next year!
S	Simon Parks on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sir Sam's was really fun. I went with my family and it was the perfect place for skiing. I like the variety of hills and the convenient chairlifts nearby. The lodge also had indoor and outdoor seating which I thought was also convenient. The last thing I want to mention is that most days they have a theme for example when we went the theme was snow cone day. There are more that we didn't get to see. But we will definitely come back!
S	Stefanie J on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great ski hill! Only 2 lifts running that we saw but still possible to get to all the hills and not too expensive for a full day pass. Great for starters and people who just want to have a fun day skiing. Definitely will be coming back!
D	David MacLeod on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem for a family of ski instructors...and a 35-40 minute drive from our cottage in the Kawarthas. Great hills and a fun morning despite the -30C morning shred. Lots of decent skiers so no first time crazies or yard sales and all staff were extremely warm, helpful & welcoming. Warmed up enough to have some eats and some spirits (great Boshkung Brewing Co. Black Rock Dark Ale for me) on their massive deck while enjoying the view of the hill along with getting a good dose of vitamin D thanks to Momma Nature...will be back next week. ~dMac ??

Me and my wife were skiing for the first time ever,their Discover Ski program is a really option and the instructor was also very understanding and accommodating. Since it was our day 1 we were struggling with our sizes and fitment. They have an excellent team on the rental shop they adjust your boots and skiis if you have got our own ( as in our case ) Located in nice serene location would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to start their skiing journey. They also offer variety of programs for beginners to advanced skiers.
