★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I started taking flute lessons with Natasha because I had never had them growing up, and after joining a community band I was having difficulty keeping up because I was missing some fundamental techniques. Natasha is very patient, and her high standards really push me to make my sound the best it can be. I have only taken lessons with her for a year and still have plenty to learn, but everything about my playing has significantly improved in this time - tone, breath support, speed, musicality - and most importantly, I've been having so much more fun with my band because I'm not dragging behind trying to figure out why my flute won't play the high notes (hint: it was me all along...!). I highly recommend Natasha for all levels of flute players, from young to adult. I've enjoyed her teaching so much that I signed up for a second year of lessons!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Natasha really knows how to fire a kid’s music passion. If you step in her class, you will find that she not only has very high standard of every note and sound even each breath, but also she focus on training young player’s stage performance which is so important to encourage their confidence and future’s lasting interest in music.
Besides class, Natasha also encouraged my daughter to auditions in RDYO and attend different flute competitions in Vancouver area, all these activities help my daughter to maintain and continue practicing after class.
My daughter has now achieved highest division both in RDYO and her school Orchestra, flute became an important part in her daily life. As a parent, I’m very grateful to Natasha, she is the best flute teacher we’ve ever met!
