β β β β β Long was a professional trumpet player who, in 1956, thought he could sell instruments to some of his friends in the music community. With the small store he set up on the second floor of the old house on Carlton Street in Toronto, he became a dealer for King Band Instruments. The store's floor was later divided up into music studios so that Long could teach trumpet lessons on the side. About 6 months later, Long rented out a room to a local drummer named Jack McQuade, which the latter used for drum lessons.

β β β β β I used to avoid this place like a plauge when I first starting playing guitar and a certain crooked long haired manager kept insisting I play right handed, around 2011. Stoked to say though that those days are gone, and the majority of current staff take awesome care of their customers to make sure you get the right product/fit for YOU. Everyoneβs passionate about their music (and gear!) and, aside from Alex, have never once steered me in the wrong direction. Special shoutout to especially Garett, Mitch, Greg, and Iver for keeping it real!

β β β β β I had Lessons in Long and Mcquade, I had Anthony as my teacher. Anthony is such a good teacher! He has lots of experience in Guitar so whatever level you are he will surely help you grow! He is also a solid Rock fan which makes me more happy as a student! If you want to learn and grow I highly recommend enrolling here! Worth paying for!

β β β β β Went in to get a short scale electric guitar. As a beginner, I found the sales staff very knowledgeable and helpful, Zach in particular. He answered all my questions and swapped the strings for something more suitable for the guitar's size. It plays much better now

β β β β β Bunch of fakes. Have to now contact Shure and do the job they were supposed to do for them ; but, didn't due to incompetence.
This unprofessional store held this warranty covered repair for 10 months then sent a LIE text message saying they were repaired ..
when they were actually never touched and in the exact same state.

β β β β β Surprisingly very helpful staff catered to your musical instrument needs. We were able to get a very nice acoustic guitar for a decent price. The process extremely quick and I am impressed to know they offer affordable monthly intrument rentals for those who cannot afford to buy one yet.
