I had such a positive experience getting my dog spayed ( along with her shots and check-ups) They were so accommodating and helpful. It makes SUCH a difference when you have people who are genuinely caring, not only towards your pet, but also to you as a customer. I have been to three other places prior to this, and nothing compares to Signal Hill. <3
J	Jon W on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible clinic. Extremely unhappy with Dr. Sweet. Brought are dog in for itchiness and dry skin. We had told them we thought it was a chicken allergy. He was adamant that it was not. After $1000 of testing and a $300 assessment (which we were told was no cost) it was back to a chicken allergy (which is a $700 test). Steriods were also recommended for a 6 month old puppy, which we found out was a horrible idea. Good thing we went to another vet before we gave her that. They are not open about the costs of the work being complete and will take advantage of you if they know you have insurance.
a	ali cat on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend The Signal Hill Animal Clinic we have been a customer of theirs for many years over three different pets. Recently my little dog was very sick and the clinic squeezed him in and we got the best service. It is a busy clinic and as a result we did not see the same vet for every visit. But we did not feel short-changed as they communicated with each other. They do not keep animals overnight at least not that I know of and they would phone late in the evening and every morning to see how the dog was doing and to give us instructions. They would keep us informed of what was happening and what possible treatment paths existed. They would review their care plan for the visit and make sure that I was comfortable with it. Every person at the clinic whether they were a veterinarian or not were all very caring individuals.
K	Kathy Leew on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On a Friday afternoon, our dog was bit by another dog and it didn't seem to warrant an emergency hospital visit, but our regular vet was closing and not open on Saturdays. We called around several places that were fully booked on Saturdays, but when I called Signal Hill, I told them what happened and they were able to squeeze us into an appointment first thing on Saturday morning. It was so nice and a huge relief to get him checked out, washed, and on antibiotics right away. He's doing great and they were lovely. They even gave him a check-up since it was his first time there. Thank you so much! We will be back :)

Her communication skills over the phone are great considering that during COVID I can't actually go in with my dog. I trust them all to leave my dog there when she had to get tests done and was sick. Would recommend to anyone!

The Doctors and staff at Signal Hill Animal Clinic are exceptional and truly care about their patients. Caring for patients that cannot speak is difficult, not to mention having to deal with some owners who consider themselves to be experts in Veterinary Medicine. The Signal Hill Animal Clinic Team does their absolute best to diagnose and treat while also honoring the wishes and budgets of owners. I am disheartened to read some negative reviews for this clinic and cannot help but think that they are coming from the wrong place. In reference to one of the reviews about the cost of euthanizing a cat, there appears to be some missing information here. While I do not know the specifics of letting that cat go, I do know that the cost we recently paid for euthanasia was NOT $400 and it appears this person may be considering the aftercare costs associated with funeral solutions and not the medical procedure itself. Do not be misled by reviews like this, Signal Hill Animal Clinic offers some of the most reasonable prices for high quality care in the city. I highly recommend this clinic.
