I couldn't believe my eyes when a customer asked just for a refill and the manager "apparently the owner" of the pharmacy gets mad at her just because she didn't ask for the refill at the same time as the other medicine. Even worst when he just decided not to provide the medicine to her and asked "in a very rude way" to leave the place. All this because the client forgot to ask for both medicines at the same time? He even called the police because he felt in danger? OMG, what a drama queen. He is behind a plexiglass, and no body was putting him in danger. The client was just standing up for her rights! What kind of manager are you?... Refusing to provide a medicine to a patient because you may have a bad day and wanted to release your anger with any one? You are a very rude person and mean as well. If I were able to rate at zero I'll do it. Avoid this place

This is not about a specific incident. This is about my years of experiences dealing with the pharmacy at this location. The pharmacist/owner is RUDE, condescending, and disrespectful. No eye contact, no help, no compassion, and no basic customer service skills. Please do not ask me to call your 1-800 number, Shoppers Customer Service. Our feedback can be heard here.

This is the first time I have ever gone to a Shoppers Drug Mart and have gotten this kind of customer service or lack thereof. I was expecting my medications to come in two plastic vials with safety lids like usual. Instead, one medication came in an almost empty bottle and the rest of it in three separate boxes. The other medication came in its original bottle. I think the pharmacist got really lazy and just didn't want to be bothered to actually put all the pills in the bottles with safety lids. Why be a pharmacist if you are too lazy to count the pills? Stay away from this place! If they would cut corners like this, I dread to think what other things they would do because they are too lazy to do it the right way.

First of all, No Covid-19 Test Kit was available here! Besides, No matter what you expect from a descent pharmacy, this one is well below of it. Unlike other staffs in the other SDM, those in here are here acts like KGB..Loblaws must consider kick this owner out from their group of companies..he deserves it.

Bought a sunscreen from here. I had a reaction to it so I tried to return it. The cashier asked me the reason for the return, how many times, I had used it, and when I purchased it. After all that, she informed me she could not make the return becuase they only accept returns on certain brands? I gave her the bottle at the beginning of the interaction so she knew what brand it was the entire time. Not sure why she didn'y say that from the start. Also, I had never heard of this policy before. Nobody told me that this brand was not returnable when I bought it, nor was it written on the recipet. I later went on Shoppers website and it doesn't say anything along those lines.

Extremely rude pharmacist. May 2nd male morning pharmacist. Dr office was not authorizing prescription without the reauthorization forms. Called in to ask him if he could fax the doctor and he literally hung up on me twice and told me I’m wasting his time cuz I was gonna transfer the prescription. I called back told him explaining other pharmacy does not have medication history so if he could please send in the request he cut me off and hung up on me again for the third time. He told me he is the manager associate. So will def see this complain from college. All calls are being recorded. I can not believe how rude he was just cuz I asked him to fax the doctor. WHICH IS OBVIOUSLY CUZ HE WAS NOT GOING TO GET DISPENSING FEE. Kept cutting me off and when I told him let me explain he said no I don’t want you to explain !!! I understand the meds were being transferred but they were the ones who had the patient history. You are a pharmacist to help ppl not to only think about store benefits. Disappointing to see such ppl in our health care system. He was screaming at top of his lungs.

Pharmacy manager had very bad customer service. He was not polite at all. The staffs were fine. However, my wife felt racist. You lost a long royal customer for 7 years. Will not get any more drugs from here with this Pharmacy manager.

If I could give zero stars I would. Had the worst customer service at this location after I tried returning a pair of non-prescription reading glasses that I bought about two weeks ago. The handle of the glasses some how got broken and I went to see if I could exchange them. Despite having the receipt the manager refused to exchange the glasses for a new pair; he said he was unable to verify the purchase. It so happened that the cashier who sold me the glasses was there and she told him that she remembered selling me a pair of glasses. He basically accused me of having the purchased the glasses somewhere else and trying to exchange them at the store. His other coworker also took the opportunity to tell me that I may have been too "forceful" with the glasses and broke them on purpose.
