Worked with Jon Chan to set up my mortgage. This was my first experience with RBC and he was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and quick to respond to all of my emails. Cannot recommend him enough. In the process of switching over all my accounts from Vancity to RBC. They've given me tons more perks, customer service, and knowledge than I ever received in 10 years beforehand. Highly recommend doing business with them.

Every time I come to this bank there is a 30 minute line up. Avoid this branch unless your fine with wasting 40 minutes of your life.

Called the branch and waited for 1.5 hours to get the call answered with no success. They used to have a good customer service with shirt wait time. Not the case anymore. Very disappointed.

I made an appointment online to visit Prab Wong. Drove over to the branch (website won’t allow virtual appointments), showed up early and waited for the advisor to call my name. 20 minutes after the supposed start of my appointment, nobody called my name and I decided to leave. Felt bad for putting the front desk guy in an awkward position. Would not recommend seeing Prab Wong. Why schedule an appointment when I’ll be waiting anyways? Was told the advisor was with another client

Line up of 12.i kiosks 2 of them have a teller. Couldn't use my scotia card at the kiosk. Had to go outside use the atm. Wait in line again. And counted 9 employees walking around casually chit chatting about boys and kids. Worst bank ever. #RBCSUCKS (NEW WEST 6TH)

This branch has really gone downhill in the last year, since they renovated. 1. No more segregated business teller section 2. Seemingly fewer tellers, resulting in over 20 minutes wait every time. 3. The tellers seem inexperienced and slow - especially the non business ones. How can you process a large number of cheques for a business customer without even a rubber finger? I have yet to have a teller take less than 30 minutes to put through our deposit. Will be seeking a different branch location to bring our business.

most of the people that work here aren't very smart. Never had any problems with bank drafts at any other branch, they usually get deposited right away but the employees here always put holds on them for no reason. A friend of mine I was talking to yesterday said they usually try to hold like 25% or 50% of his bank drafts even though they are always from the same place. When he went in there last they were gonna hold 86% of it, out of the blue, and gave him no reason as to why. The girl was tripping over her own words, almost as if she was trying to make something up, then she comes back after supposedly talking to the manager and tries to offer 80%... I wouldn't be surprised if they don't know the difference between a check and a bank draft, but this seems intentional and the fact that they would hold back so much of his money that he couldn't even pay his bills for the month is a disgusting practice...

It’s 430 pm on the 15th of the month. Not every teller is open. They are clearly lined up to the front door. The service is slow. No tellers have sense of urgency. No one goes fast. They tellers are combative over releasing peoples funds due to hand written checks. Nothing but poor poor management from this bank. Over the last 3 months. Every single paycheck of mine has had an issue with this bank. Whether it’s not releasing my money. Whether it’s the entire β€œinternet” is shut off on the first of the month. So ppl cannot deposit money to be able to pay rent. A bank is open to be able to manage peoples finances efficiently. Clearly shown by this branch’s entire effort in hiring. Scheduling staff. Culture within the workplace. People are leaving early from their offices and not helping the tellers. 438. Bank closes at 5.
