I do not recommend this pharmacy. What has happened to the pharmacy in the past year? I've tried to allow for leniency because the pandemic has put undue pressure on pharmacies, however at this point the poor service is inexcusable. Over the past few months my partner and I have had to wait 10-20 minutes at a time to get our medication (we have been going during slow times, typically the wait is one person ahead who is trying to sort out a pharmacy issue). Multiple times our prescriptions have not been filled because the order wasn't placed. Missing necessary medications can be so impactful, and the pharmacy not placing orders in a timely manner is incredibly irresponsible and negligent. Even when we go late at night, service is incredibly slow. I have frequently found myself waiting behind another customer while the pharmacy assistant tries in vain to work out an ordering issue. It is extremely concerning that this has happened multiple times and to multiple clients aside from my partner. I have called corporate to discuss the concerning issues in the pharmacy, and I have transferred my prescriptions to a pharmacy that I hope will exceed the low bar that this Shoppers Drug Mart has failed to meet. Edit: While transferring my prescriptions this pharmacy told my new pharmacy that they did not have any refills for my precriptions. This isn't true. I confirmed with my doctor that she had faxed the prescriptions on July 19, refills for multiple medications to the end of September. I don't really understand how this could have been missed, considering they have had no issues receiving fax from my doctor in the past.

I’m there because my elderly mother is a customer in the pharmacy, and they are very helpful and their expertise is apparent. Just today though, I helped her purchase a cosmetic. The woman that helped us was incredibly patient and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. (no small feat I can assure you). I didn’t get her name, but would like her to know, she is amazing and we are grateful. June 2, around 11:30 if that helps ID this lovely person. ?

I do Not recommend this Shoppers. Always issues and problems. They Don’t have enough Staff to help the customers, You order medication in Advance and Still Not ready. I’m switching to another even though not close to my house!

I highly recommend avoiding this location for any pharmaceutical needs. I have never been disrespected and treated less than an human being by an employee in my entire life. I asked the pharmacist Jayneta to not yell an pesons personal information over the counter. Out of embarrassment and frustration, I did not want to pay for anything else beside my medication. Jayneta then accuses me for opening a box that I brought to the counter, which was already open, and proceeds to embarrass me by asking her colleague, in front of other customers if the box was open. Jayneta than tosses my medication at my hands without checking me out and walks away, while I asked for her name. The floor manager that night was very helpful! I forgot your name, sorry!

I called this location today at 5pm and asked what time their pharmacy is open until and they told me 10pm and I asked the person on the phone β€œand is that including for covid vaccines?” And she had told me yes and that there is only one person doing them after 5 so it will just be more of a wait time. I showed up at around 6:15 and left work early to go and the people at the pharmacy told me that I will have to come back tomorrow because they’re not doing any vaccines after 5pm. I explained to them that I had specifically called to see if it was worth leaving work to go there and get it and I was told that information and I showed them the proof of the call on my phone at 5pm. If I wouldn’t have been told that information over the phone and told the proper information I would not have left work. The workers at the pharmacy should know the proper information and should know the hours of their vaccines and not give the wrong information to customers over the phone.

Pharmacy is terrible. My mom was prescribed antidepressants for the FIRST time and they failed to explain to her the importance of taking the medications on time as well as all the serious sometimes fatal side effects. This is literally the bare minimum. When I called to explain the situation and ask questions, the pharmacy team was abrasive and continued to cut me off. If I could give less than 1 I would and i see in the reviews it wouldn’t be the first time…

If I could give this pharmacy a 0 star I would. The customer service is terrible. Today I dropped off a prescription and picked it up hours later. Both times it took at least 5-10 mins for somebody to attend to me. There were NO other customers when I dropped it off-still I was ignored for 5 mins until I spoke up. When I picked up the prescription the service provider gave service to 5 people at the drop off window while I was waiting the whole time at the pick up window. I finally went to the drop off window to get service because she was ignoring me. I wonder if the poor service is racially motivated? I will never return there.
