If you book a vaccine appt, be prepared to wait for at least 20-30 minutes because they are never prepared for the appts. Don't waste your time go somewhere else.

One of the worst Shoppers Drug Mart locations in Edmonton. Every single time I drop off the prescription, the wait time is a minimum of 1 hour. And this seems like the only pharmacy that has this problem this often. Now that I'm looking at the other reviews, looks like I'm not the only one who has had not so good experience here.

This particular Shoppers pharmacy is perhaps the worst I have ever encountered. I have found them to be consistently unreliable in fulfilling prescriptions. They almost never inform you when the orders are ready, and they seemingly never have the proper information about the patients.

I had a wonderful experience at this pharmacy. I am a handicapped person who uses a wheelchair so it is hard for me to get in and out of my car. Sumi was amazing and came out to the car to give me my booster shot. She went above and beyond with her customer service and I am very appreciative of her going out of her way for me.

Being refused a Covid 19 vaccine service for a child because the pharmacist didn't want to open a "new" box. After booking an appointment through AHS we arrived to only be told they won't be giving us the vaccine and that we will have to wait. Wait until they "have more people who want it." Then the pharmacist proceeded to pull out a sheet of paper that had a list of other peoples names and phone numbers so that they can "give us a call when more people want the vaccine." There is no point this place being listed on the AHS approved site for access to give vaccines if they refuse to provide the service. Then to make matters worse, when calling back the pharmacy, asking why they were refusing service or if the information had changed they gave the run around and kept trying to change the subject. They even refused to give a straight answer as to why they wouldn't be giving the vaccine. If I could give this place zero instead of a one for their customer service I would. I have never been refused service of basic health care options because someone was lazy and clearly incompetent. I honestly will never be back to this location.

I'll never for any reason whatsoever use Canada post, at any Shopper's drug nor anywhere else as a matter of fact. Yesterday evening at around 8:30pm I went to the post office and paid for something to be delivered. The staff at the desk could clearly see by how confused I was that I did not use Canada post very often. Firstly the Caucasian guy with the glasses tried to sell me express post when he knew damn well I could just use a regular envelope. But that's not unusual to be frank. What's unusual is when staff know the laws and policies and neglect to tell you about it. As someone who doesn't use Canada Post often I did not know that you couldn't go back to make changes after handing the parcel over to the clerk, even if it was only after a few minutes. I could even see the parcel sitting there behind the staff and yet I was told I could make not change it from normal delivery to registered delivery. I had to call the customer service Canada post in order for them to explain their policy in detail. Why didn't the staff tell me before I had paid for the parcel? In fact, I felt rushed. The Caucasian guy with the glasses at one point kept asking me if he could scan the envelope so I could pay for it to be delivered I guess. But not once did he think to tell me that the moment I paid for it, I could not change anything related to the delivery or the parcel itself How many people know that you can't change anything after money ahs exchanged hands if they don't use Canada post huh? And speaking of registered mail, again how do people who are not familiar with Canada post know what registered mail is if the staff just causally say registered mail? I don't blame the staff only, I blame the policy itself and also, the lack of proper training of staff by Canada post. Next time, I will use FedEx or some other courier because this is such a pathetic service and organization, which is a shame as I wanted to support Canadian owned. Now I'll have to support the American owned chains

I've used this Pharmacy a few times over the course of a couple of years and I will say IT'S THE WORSE SERVICE I experienced. Heck Costco pharmacy is faster. They appear to not care about speed or efficiency. They have lost a customer and hope more ppl will go to a smaller pharmacy and support small businesses as they provide better service.

It is outrageous how this pharmacy operates! Today I stayed first in line for 20 minutes after the person before me was serviced. The pharmacist was literally ignoring me. He was walking back and forth trying to make appearance that he is busy with something- walked from one place to another just looking around not doing anything for 20 minutes! I was staying in line with my mother and both noted that the guy was pretending to work. He made multiple times eye contact with me, so he knew I was there. Finally, he got a bottle of water and took off! I waited may be 5 minutes more till I ran out of patience and with loud voice, so that all ~5 pharmacists which were there can here me, asked if anyone is servicing "Customer Consultation". One lady pharmacist came forward and told that there is no designated pharmacist who is working in "Customer Consultation". I told that I am waiting for 20 minutes and asked how long am I supposed to wait. She trying to change the topic and asked what I was looking for. When I heard that no-one is servicing that window, I told that I will write a review and asked the name of the pharmacist who was at that window before and left. She didn't want to give me the name, but I insisted and asked several times. Couldn't hear the name properly, but it was starting with "A", it was something like Andrew and she told me that he was a student. I left. By the way, I was just looking for a thermometer. Another incident with this pharmacy happened several weeks ago when I went to pick the test kit for COVID-19. Don't know the name of the pharmacist, but he was slim and Asian. Date when it happened was December 17th. Spend several hours staying in line that date, but the line was not that long. I actually timed it- it took at least 6 minutes to give 1 rapid test kit to 1 person. That pharmacist was puffing and complaining to each customer that they got some extra work now to distribute those kits. Also chatting with each customer., when the tail of the line is outside of the store and its -25C outside. Had some other prior incidents there, but I guess I made my point that customer service in this pharmacy is consistently outrageous. They strictly prioritize customers who come after prescriptions. I am not going there ever. Hope that management pays attention to these reviews and if you don't believe me, go undercover and check yourself.
