The pharmacist is rude and not very helpful

The service here was really good. The lady at the counter was quite pleasant. However the store is quite small... Which is why this rating isn't 5 stars.

love the staff, very friendly and helpful. The best part is they text me when my meds are ready or need refills.. 5 stars from me.

I called their number and inquired if I could use their fax machine, to a toll-free number. And since we were pharmacy customers, the nice man on the other end said, "Sure. Come on down." As I made my way over, in the snow, I proceeded to the pharmacy. The pharmacist proceeded to rudely tell me that I wasn't the one he talked too, and that, "we don't allow public access to the fax machine." He then started to walk away. I stated that I just got off the phone with a male and that he said it was okay. The pharmacist grumbled and then called the manager of the store. The nice gentleman (I believe his name was Mike) came over and the pharmacist angrily said, "Did you tell this guy that he can use the fax?" To which Mike replied, "Yes. He only has 2 pages." He took my pages, faxed them and then said to wait around for a few minutes and check if the confirmation went through. I stood there, and stood there. And stood there. Finally, one of the female staff came over and asked me if I were still waiting for Mike. I said that, "No, I was waiting for the fax confirmation." She said she would check and then confirmed the submission. I was happy and grateful and thanked her for her help. And as I was walking away, I caught the pharmacist's glance, and if looks could kill...I wouldn't be writing this review. Now, I am Ojibwe native. He was of Asian descent. I don't believe race was a factor. Maybe he was having a bad day. But, wow. The service he "gave" me, and the way he spoke to the manager was deplorable. In any case, the store in itself, is great and the other empoyees were superb. I just hope you don't catch that pharmacist on a bad day.

I rate the store and post office staff 5 stars. But the pharmacist I dealt with a few years ago was enough that I transferred my account to a non-Shoppers pharmacy. I gave her 0 stars.
