First time going into the New location and got to say it is a huge upgrade from before. But got to say wish I could of looked around more. I understand you have to watch for shop lifters and usally you have undercover people who do it. I had a staff member follow me where ever I went, watching my every move. It was very annoying and also very rude when I was not the only person in the store. Is this what you tell your employees to do now?

I picked up my prescription, but where to line up for prescription pick up is not clear. Customers were forming two lines. I think there should have been one line so there was confusion and frustration. During a busy time this will result in anger. Good thing there’s security! Also, I just read your reviews. I am astonished at your very low ratings over an extended time period. I think I’ll probably go elsewhere as I don’t think you are trying to improve.

Worst pharmacy experience ever!! I was told that it would take two days to fill my prescription. Pharmacist said she knows when prescriptions are needed quickly and which ones aren’t. Felt so upset by being treated so rudely. Plus shorted me 50 of my 60 pills, told me to come back in two days. Didn’t tell me anything abOut my child’s new medication. Definitely will be changing pharmacies as I left crying today

I absolutely love this Shoppers Drug Mart location. It's my favourite location and Samaneh in the cosmetics department is amazing, detailed and truly cares to match your needs with the products you're looking for. Anyone looking for a peaceful and refreshing cosmetic experience should consult her!

Like the new store but the security guard needs to ease up. The past 3 times I shopped there he has followed me around the store then stood behind me at the self checkout and watched me ring things through. Be a better judge of character.

I went into this Shoppers yesterday as moral support for my friend doing a return. My friend had purchased a Nintendo controller a couple weeks earlier, and then decided she wanted a different coloured version so she went to return it, but was told by the employee that this location does not do electronic returns. This item was UNOPENED, WITH RECEIPT & WITHIN THE 30 DAYS - all within the return policy. Not only was this stance taken by the (new) supervisor, but when prompted for another member of management, another supervisor came and made the same statement that this store had a policy to not do electronic returns. When going into the store yesterday, the cashier called a supervisor to authorize the return, and August looked at the cashier and wondered why he was called as of course they would do the return of the item - why wouldn't they? This is the experience that was expected the first time, and it shouldn't be make a difference of which member of management is called, they should be adhering to the return policy of SHOPPERS DRUG MART, not the associate's policy. I was shocked at the first experience and would not recommend that anyone purchase electronics at this location in the future.

The shopping experience in this new store is a little bizarre and uncomfortable. There are always a bunch of workers in the cosmetics section standing around watching everyone that comes in. Imo I’ve never thought its appropriate for a customer service person to ask if you need help the second you start trying to look around and see what’s there. More importantly, a customer service person who approaches you to ask if you need assistance in a friendly tone, sends a completely different message than a worker who says the same thing with a cold stare. Just as a warm, friendly worker asking if they can take your items or basket while you shop for more things, becomes not so nice when they are being cold while making that offer. Shoppers should be very concerned about how friendly (or not) the make-up workers are because theyre the first workers people see + talk to when coming in the store. Also, I know it’s important to have security but, maybe it would be in better taste to have under-cover security instead of a uniformed guard pacing back and forth eyeing everyone? I think there should be a little more cashiers and less self check-outs too. The cold, sterile look and feel to this new store couldn’t have come at a worse time, after all the isolation and changes that happened with the pandemic. They should’ve just left the old store alone and let it stay there.

The security guards treat you like you are a criminal. They make me feel very uncomfortable and more than once I felt like I was being targeted. It felt like they were following me around and even walked out of the store behind me once. Why though? To see if I beeped on the way out? I’m seriously considering never going there again. I will go back to Sephora for my cosmetic needs. I don’t need to be made to feel like I’m doing something wrong when I’m actually paying for everything openly. Also don’t use the self checkout, I was stopped after their security watched me pay. Then he’d decided he didn’t need to see my receipt which I had for my $7 item. For eff sakes!
