I can’t believe the true disregard for the health and well-being of my loved one who is receiving palliative care. the wait times are outrageous…the customer service is lower then POOR. No medication, always blaming other agencies and doctors, no fax came in, whoever is suppose to be entering stuff into the system there is pretty slow apparently. No compassion is shown to people who are dying and need pain management care. Very willing to hand out methadone treatment with fist pumps from the pharmacist and how’s it going pleasantries …but an elderly person with stage 4 cancer has to wait days for pain management medication. Horrible ? This isn’t just one time…this is every time experience to get refills of her any of her medication there is always an issue.

I have been renewing online for sometime now, but on occasion I need to speak with a real live person if there is an urgent issue. They refilled prescriptions that weren't due for several months.

I waited until I received the confirmation email that the prescription was filled and then when I went in to the store to pick it up, Brandy was polite and quick at the desk. Thank you for the important job you do during this challenging time.

Excellent change that I can see here. He was willing to go that extra mile to provide excellent service. I would recommend this pharmacy to anyone.

g	gordo nettleton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot understand why on earth Shoppers Parry Sound chooses not to answer their phone! It’s rude and so frustrating! Like others who have posted, I think the only thing to do is to move my business elsewhere. And what will be reported also is that without them answering phones, there is no way to connect with the post office. That is something Canada Post needs to know and hopefully they choose to move their post office location to somewhere where you can call and connect with staff! Let’s see….how about Canadian Tire? sobeys? Walmart? These are all reputable and far better at customer service. Shoppers is a Canadian success. Why they let this outlet act in this manner is beyond me. And replies thst aimpy say “we are sorry and please call a 1800 number” gives me absolutely 0 confidence that anything is being done to rectify this bad behaviour. Don’t say your sorry. Just do something and fix this!!!!

I count an average of 5-7 people behind the prescription counter and yet there is almost always a line-up and still only one person on cash. In 8 visits I only observed them call a second person to another cash ONCE. They have lied telling me they did not receive a prescription request in person and yet magically I received an online notification minutes after walking out of the store. On other occasions they said they needed 20 minutes to "prepare" my prescription which turned out to be a dry powder in a jug which is to be prepared (read mixed with water) by the patient just before taking. Repeatedly false and misleading information provided. I am looking for another pharmacy in the area that has their act together.
