★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yesterday I had a really bad experience with a pharmacist at the Dobbin Rd Shoppers Drug Mart. I asked if they had a suppliment that my ND had prescribed. He asked had I seen my GP, I said yes. Then he said "you shouldn't listen to Naturopaths, their remedies are witchcraft. I was shocked & horrified that a member of the pharmacy should defame a group of highly qualified medical professionals as Naturopathic doctors. Absolutely inappropriate. I will never go there again. Others beware.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They get NO stars from me but I was forced to give them one. Filling only half of my prescription so they can keep filling their pockets because "that's the way we do it. We give you refills". Plus, you get insulted multiple times if you complain about that. I just filled my LAST prescription from this pharmacy today. I'll take my business elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This location has a couple of the pharmacy assistant/technician staff that are very unprofessional. I was accused by the older lady (frizzy hair, glasses) that I wouldn't give her my phone number after I had just given her that same phone number one minute prior. She was rude and confrontational. However, it gets worse. I call back a few days later to schedule a pick up for the owing and I asked the woman to verify that my phone number on my file was updated (the older lady's attitude had me concerned she purposively did not update my file) and staff member then says "I actually remember that interaction and it was a big misunderstanding...etc" as though to stand up for her unprofessional coworker. This is not how clients should be treated, ever, but especially in a customer service capacity. I'm not sure why this kind of behaviour is allowed to continue. Very disappointing. I urge you to fill your prescriptions at any other pharmacy on the west side.
From reading the reviews below, my review does not seem that unusual.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was NOT aware that if you don't have a PC card, according to Shoppers you don't qualify for senior discount on Thursdays. So does that mean your age changes with a PC card?
The owner response was quick but I don't need a personal chat. I would like to see all seniors treated equal on Thursdays senior discount day, not only the ones with a PC card.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prescribed here for a while, had only positive experiences! They're a bit rushed on the phone, but that's ok, because I never had to wait long when picking up or dropping off, and they were always friendly and competent!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is for cosmetics, I would give 10 stars to Tiffany P. I have many allergies and she was patient and kind and helped me find just what I needed. She was incredible. Unfortunately I missed the 7 day deadline to let Shoppers know so I wanted to at least do this review.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today I purchased a Bubble mailer pouch for a 1.79 plus tax. The peg I took it off says 1.49. I mentioned to the staff member that she overcharged me and she said that the price is 1.79. We better get that changed. Now the .30 cents will not make or break. I know others will have the same issue if the tag is not changed. I thought she might change it right away but didnt appear to be worried about it.Just my thoughts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This has to be worst Shoppers pharmacy in B.C. The little lady with frizzy hair and glasses needs to either get some serious training or should be fired. Does not listen, is highly combative and is beyond rude. She has an over-the-top know-it all attitude with no regard to privacy. The rest of them are no better, and feed off each others' bad attitude. I always expected that people in the pharmacy industry would be kind and empathetic, and keen to help people. If this is your expectation, then steer clear of this place. But if you like to be belittled or patronized in front of other strangers, then this place is for you! I don't understand why management does not do anything about this behaviour - there are plenty of similar negative reviews that would warrant some disciplinary action.
