This pharmacy has the worst service. I knew this in advance but it was the only pharmacy that had my prescription in stock. Gave them my prescription at noon and was told it would be ready by 7pm. Arrived at 7pm with 2 people in front of me and both of these had problems getting their prescriptions. 15 minutes later I was told my order was not ready. Absolutely the worst service!!!

Unbelievably bad service! LYING & EXTREMELY rude staff! Some kind of issue almost every time. Multiple times I was told my order was ready and it wasn't. Always huge lines. Prices are no better than the pharmacies that actually know how to treat customers. The owner is polite and very helpful but she really needs to clear out the bad apples that are bringing down the business ASAP!

Easily the most disorganized, inefficient pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Wait times are excrutiatingly long. using the on-line refill system is horrid. Prescription notice to phone to say ready, but clerks advise not to pay attention to those notices, they don't mean the items are really ready for pick up. Phone is NEVER answered. That being said, the techs are pleasant to deal with and they are nice people. Needs some organization badly.

This pharmacy has been one negative experience after another but this latest one was unacceptable. Here's the situation: My wife requested her Rx to be refilled. They told her to come back later that day. She went in the following day, thinking it would be filled. They told her that it still wasn't finished and that she would have to come back later. She gave it another day, went in, and they asked her to wait. She ended up waiting for nearly an hour before getting up to check on her Rx's status. They told her "something got mixed up" and to come back in yet another hour. She couldn't do that and asked that it just be delivered when they sent out the next delivery. They said that would be fine. Later that afternoon we ended up having to leave the house and were worried we would miss the delivery so we left a note, suggesting that the medication be left in our mailbox. When we were on our way home my wife received a call from the driver, saying that he couldn't leave it in the mailbox and we said ok, no problem, we can always just come get it from the pharmacy now that we know it's done. He said "I live nearby, I'll just go get my dog and walk back to drop the Rx off" We were 5 minutes away so we agreed and made our way home. When we pulled into the driveway he was waiting for us. He said "for future reference the college of pharmacists require us to deliver to a person. It's not a book, it's medication". Now, I've worked with persons with neurological disorders and in addiction treatment for years. I understand policy so I don't blame him for that but he had the tone of a 9 year old who was told to do a chore he didn't want to do. We had had a long day, our 3 year old daughter was in a foul mood, and now we had a stranger standing in our driveway making sarcastic, passive aggressive remarks to us. Don't offer to do someone a favor if you're going to be snide about it. Especially if you're being paid for said favor and the only reason you're doing it is because the organization you represent is a disorganized mess. This is just one of the many bad interactions we've had with this shoppers branch. We will be changing pharmacies and strongly advise anyone looking for a pharmacy to stay well clear of this one

i called my doctor early this morning to get a prescription and she faxed the prescription over right away. so after about two hours, i called this pharmacy to ask them to please fill my prescription because i wanted to grab it. the person on the phone told me to come in at 6 to pick it up (it was 2 pm when i called and she put down the pick up time as 5pm so that it would be filled earlier and would be ready on time). i went in at 6 pm, it wasn’t ready. i had to wait for 20 minutes which i didn’t mind, but you had an hour to make sure it was ready. after this, i checked the prescription and i had extra medication in there that didn’t line up with what the label said, so i tried to call. no answer for over 30 minutes. when i finally thought i got through, they picked up, said nothing, and hung up. TWICE. this is so disappointing. it’s been months of people reviewing negatively on here, so why are you still doing the same thing over and over again?

Wanted to share my very disappointing experience with the pharmacy I had tonight not with wait times but that my medication was incorrectly made - TWICE. Came in to get a prescription for my 2 year old filled. The first time a pharmacist assistant gave me the raw medical ingredient (powder form) without mixing it. Left the store and realized their error and drove back to shoppers to get it fixed. I would imagine at this point the pharmacist would take over as this is a major oversight, but not yet. The second time they came back with my medication but only a quarter of the bottle was filled. It was incorrect and I don't know the concentration of it but luckily I started questioning there rationale of why the bottle was only a quarter filled. They looked at the bottle again with the other staff and without discussing anything further with me, went to make further amendments to the prescription. At this point i'm feeling very uncomfortable about everything that happened, especially for a medication for a 2 year old. Eventually they return with a bottle more filled but not the usually amount so i voiced my concerns. Finds out there machine is broken but the pharmacist measured it herself. As this was the 3rd red flag for myself I voiced how uncomfortable I was with the situation. At this point the pharmacist has the audacity to say "I don't understand why you are uncomfortable - I measured it myself, it's right" ...Not even acknowledging what happened. At that point I asked for my prescription back and went over to Walmart pharmacy and had a much better experience.

Very similar experience as Melissa’s review. Extremely long wait times and the pharmacy is very disorganized. I hope they can get some support or extra staff to help relieve some of the pressure.

I don't believe in writing complaints about a business, I love Shoppers drug mart, but the pharmacy here really does need some improving? My prescriptions are never ready either. I waited to go in after 10 days to pick up a easy prescription, as my Doctor's office sent it in on Feb 3rd. I often love to give them a couple of days after my Doctor sends it over to them, to do it up as I am aware of staff shortages. However this is the fourth time now when I arrive it's never ready? They told me today to come back in about 5hours and , as I mentioned I now needed it ASAP.
