Shining Stars Childcare

My twin daughters started going here when they were 2.5 years old and the day before I gave birth to my third baby. My girls truly enjoyed coming here and loved their teachers. They were with the toddler and preschool the year after. The centre has treated them like they are family and have accommodated us as much as they can. I have another baby so by 5:30pm they get the twins all set up and ready for pick up so I don’t have to take my baby inside. They have also worked so much to help one of my daughters with her physical and social development since she has ASD. The twins come home and show what they’ve learned that day. They have improved and become smarter everyday. If only Covid-19 never happened, the girls would still be enjoying their final months there. I highly recommend this centre! All the teachers in each room have been fantastic to my girls including the supervisor Holly.

I strongly recommend this child care centre to families. My son attending shining stars when he was 18 months, he was very shy and sensitive at the beginning, even though junior toddler room was quite busy with little kids ,Ms Geri and Ms Cheryll always show their greatest patient with my son. also Ms Francine, Ms Sachili, Ms Bronwen and all other staffs are really profession and compassionate teacher for kids, they really put "care" in day-care. Because of their caring and professional approach my son become more confident and brave.we are so grateful for it!

Those accidents happened a while ago. It had been an unpleasant memory for me and I am very thankful that my beloved son is still with me today. As a father, I have to write to express my feeling about this daycare. After I had a discussion with my wife today regarding our experience for our son staying in Shining star. I was told that my son fell down from a bike his head down backward without a helmet with him, and the answer I got from the teacher was that my 2 years old son refused to wear the helmet, and the problem became my 2 years old son's lack of responsibility. I was shocked when I heard that. I had to write a letter of complaint to the supervisor but got no reasonable reply. The 2nd experience was was that my son cried and upset for 3 days after the new teacher replacement, so my wife stayed with my son to figure out what was going on? As you knew that moms had 6th sense about their kids, my wife figured out that teacher was very unkind to the kids by kicking door and throwing things rudely. And my wife tried to communicate with the teacher and got complaint from the teacher saying that my wife should let go of her son to be independent and should not stay with my son too long in the daycare. Then my wife had to talk to the principle and was told that she could not do anything until they got more complaints from other parents. We quit without any hesitation and we did not even ask for the refund and just changed to another daycare and my son was very happy ever since that. I has a been a while for these unhappy memories, I just let them go and I feel that I have a responsibility to tell others and I feel relieved today. At the beginning the previous teacher was nice and my son was fine but when things happen then we noticed the issue of the management. I hope that they make necessarily positive changes today and wish all kids should be treated nicely, daycare should not only profit oriented but need higher standard! I hope that after you notice my letter you can make good change for the kids. Thank you for your time!

Shining Stars is a wonderful daycare. The staff have always been friendly and very caring. Our daughter has learned so much and made many new friends. I would recommend this daycare to other families.

I cannot say enough about how much I love this daycare. From the moment my eldest started there 8 years ago, they have gone above and beyond to ensure the best care and so much love for my kids. During the pandemic, their safety precautions have been second to none and we've never worried about our child's safety. I will truly be heartbroken when I have no more children to send here :( We love them all.

The staff is friendly and professional, we have camera access and they post pictures every week and provide info about next week. They also care children by asking us to bring in things for extra caution or just to make kids life better. I am so lucky to have my kid in this child care.

My daughter had been with Shining Stars for 2.5 years and loved being there! She even had an incredible bond with the staff who are all really friendly and professional. My daughter has special needs and the staff had taken great care in ensuring she got the support she needed. I'd definitely recommend Shining Stars to any families considering childcare!

The best childcare ever! Both of my children went to this childcare. It is very clean and organized. Staffs are very passionate and kind. Fresh food made in centre daily for children. My children had lots of fun playing and learned a lot through play. I could not have asked for a better place for my children to be in their younger years! My daughter who now is almost 9 still misses being in Shining Stars!
