About Shine Dental
At Shine Dental, we love our patients! Whether at our main office on Provencher or at our brand new Fort Garry office (which is also home to our dental implant centre) on Pembina Hwy. you may have noticed that we approach dental services a little differently than what you may be familiar with. We may be a little unconventional, but every change we introduce is thoroughly researched with the best interests of our patients, community, and environment.
Our main goal is to spend time with you. Time to get to know you and your story. Time to understand your concerns. Time to explain and educate you on the options available for your individual needs.
We also believe it is necessary to compassionately give back to our community and communities abroad. In 2005, Dr. Brent and his wife Wendy started Shine the Light Initiative which brings dental, medical and home building aid to impoverished communities. Since then, they have completed more than 30 missions trips around the world. Dr. Brent has come to realize that the most important things in life aren't things. He believes that time, compassion and understanding should be the basis of all human interactions.

I have had a few different dentists in the past with not so great experiences but Dr. Brian makes sure that you are comfortable going forward. He is very thorough and takes the time to explain the procedure and the cost. His staff are also very friendly. He is very meticulous and takes his time to make sure the patients needs are well looked after. Great professional.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the best experience at Shine Dental as soon as I walked through the door I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist (Kayla) who took me back to the room. Then Hannah (the Assistant) came in, we talked a little then she took me across the hall for an MRI then back to the room and she started talking about implants to me.
Then Dr.Brian Ho came in and what a personable Dr.!
This first visit was just a consultation and there was no charge(which I found amazing). Also I was in there for an hour and a half discussing different options with Dr.Ho. He made me feel so comfortable and never at all rushed!
I would highly recommend Shine Dental to anyone considering implants!
The staff is absolutely amazing!!!

I originally was shopping for price for implants as the cost to do them is significant.
My orthodontist encouraged me to not compromise and to seek out a reputable local organization to do the procedure as it’s much more than just putting in the implant of which I did multiple implants with bone grafting and dental work.
My choice was Shine Dental
During my implant process Brian was over the top with explanation and understanding. During the worst part of the process even gave me his personal cell number and called me to check up on me the evening after major surgery.
Could not say enough good about this team of people and the level of professionalism ! 5 years from the initial consultation with orthodontist to the last implant.
Great people and great organization !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visiting shine is one of those experiences that is always guaranteed to brighten my day. From being greeted by name to the team remembering and asking about my kids and work, it always feels like I am visiting friends there.
For years, I have been nervous to visit dentists, to the point of avoiding them. As a result, my teeth need some serious work, but I now look forward to every visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As I have come to expect over the years, the service this morning was top notch. I was brought into the room on time, and was told clearly how the procedure would happen. The dentist had extremely polite conversation with me throughout my appointment. (She subtley had the conversation go to a topic that greatly interested me.) Incidentally, the warm sun was shining on my face as I closed my eyes to help me relax. In no time the procedure was completed and I was on my way. I couldn't help but notice all of the 'Consumers Choice Awards' that Shine Dental has won, and it is no small wonder why. Going to the dentist can be an anxious thing, but I was reminded again this morning about how important true professionalism is. Great treatment by the Shine Team! Thank you so much.
