I have worked with this team for A solid two years and yet I have still mixed emotions with this team. Managers have come and gone including guards as well. No one is perfect out there yet we can always strive for it to be A better person while on or off duty. We all have choices to make for ourselves to be held accountable from our own actions or we can look for A fail safe switch to blame it on someone else. No one is expecting us to do the right thing but everyone is watching us on what we do. I was laughed at and harrassed because of my chronic illness from my former co-workers and no support was given from my colleagues during my time with this group during my dark times. These people are well aware of who was involved and unfortunately took advantage of my chronic Depression and Social Anxiety Disorder to get close with staff members inappropriately to set off my own emotional triggers intentionally; yet these people were not held accountable from their own actions. The only person that took the heat was the person that stood up for himself against all odds. I am sharing this openingly because I want everyone to see transparency works with this company. I truly hope that this company learns from their own mistakes to do A better job to look after their own staff to ensure that work harassment in any shape or form does not happen again. You can smile and pretend to act like this never happened but the choices we make will always come back in many different shapes and forms. Looking back I can look at myself in the mirror and take full accountability from my own actions; I just wish there are people out there, can do the same. Of course we have to look at all evidence for these allegations however the evidence leading up to these is hidden within your property. When I was let go you have lost your eyes and ears on what really goes on from time fraud and integrity. I choose to fulfill my duties to the very end and including the safety for all guards was kept in line. It is your obligation to delete this comment and this your own right to do whichever you please, I just hope that this does not happen again to anyone from both sides. No one deserves to go through the same treatment that I had gone through. Best of luck to the rest of the team and happy holidays to everyone.

I just wanted to share a quick note and let you know that you guys do a really good job. I’m glad I decided to work with you. It’s really great how user friendly your website is. Patrol reports are easy to access and generally speaking, well done. I seldom have any problem at all. Your service is effective and quite frankly it saves time for myself and my board members. My new site is so much faster and easier to work with than my old site. I am happy to deal with a company that doesn't constantly screw up.

I have worked for this company and all I want to say is stay way from this unprofessional soo called security company. They don't care for their guards at all. In this company you are just a number for them they will kick you out without giving any valid reason. Most of their guards are unprofessional and Management is soo poor. Even if you people are looking to hire them to provide you a security its a big noo according to what I have seen. Trust me you will regret in the end if you go with this company. I don't care if the Management tries to remove my review because I have seen earlier thats what they do everytime. I WILL POST IT AGAIN AND AGAIN UNTIL THEY ARE OUT OF BUSINESS.

Here, I want to share my great experience working with this company. Very professional staff, guards are well trained, punctual and discipline. Management is very cooperative. Pay always comes on time. Never had any issues in regards of payment. Owner of the company is very helpful and always there when any guard or supervisor need any support on site. I will recommend this company for sure.!!! Best company to work with in Ottawa region.!! Don’t get miss guide by any rumours and false reviews.!!

I have worked with Shield on many occasions and would highly recommend them. I found the team responsive to any curve ball I may throw their way. I've dealt with Service Managers on various events, and was easily able to reach the owner when required. The guards always look like a million bucks, and I can honestly say I have never had an issue that wasn't easily resolved to my satisfaction. Keep up the good work.

After reading all of the negative reviews, I have to say it’s untrue, I felt I needed to write something I have been working with Shield Security Services for over 3 months, I have found my experience very positive , the management team and fellow guards are very supportive towards one another so that we all succeed in our jobs. John our president/owner is very kind and professional and has awesome customer service skills not only towards his customers it also shows to us the employees Our Training is top notch in the industry, I highly recommend our company to anyone seeking work or looking for a responsible and respected security company to manage/look after their property. I worked there for a while and had a good experience!! With decent pay and good hours it was great experience. Especially for someone interested in law enforcement or a security field

By far the worst security company we have ever worked with. Their guards were constantly late for their shifts and when they did finally arrive they were un professional and did not perform the duties they were asked to perform. Further more their management refused to be accountable and take responsibility for their staff. When it came time to paying the bill, there operations manager refused to deduct the time for the guards who were late. When I spoke with there owner, he was rude and refused to take any responsibility. This company will end up stealing your money, so if you don't wnt to just throw your hard earned money away then I would strongly suggest using a different security company.
