★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful, dog-friendly, local book shop. My favourite thing about Shelf Life is that it's SO browse-able. You don't have to know what you're looking for when you come in; you'll always be able to find something that piques your interest. They carry really beautiful editions of books, too. This is one of my favourite destinations if I'm Christmas or Birthday shopping - you can truly find something for anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ADORE this place. The ambiance is super cozy and relaxing. Staff are incredibly friendly (and seem to be happy it be there!) And the selection is INCREDIBLE. This is by far my favourite book store in the city, and I've wasted wayyyy too much money here.

Love the minimalistic decor. The people working there are very friendly too. Overall, nice little bookstore and would visit more in the future

Their children's section in particular impressed me a lot and I had a very positive customer service experiences with the two staff members involved in filling my order. I look forward to my next visit!

In past couple of years I have dropped by multiple times to buy books which were not exactly mainstream (not too obscure either admittedly) and I was pleasantly surprised to find them available. They do a very good job of keeping their selection up to date and I recommend giving them a chance if you are ever looking for a book.
