★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful little spot that has a separate and equally fantastic coffee shop. An absolutely ridiculous amount of variety from Lovecraft, to a beginners guide to Chinese, to a 1660 copy of 'Anatomy of Melacholy'. A welcome find that I can't recommend more, even if it's just to check out

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a wonderful place to go to on a rainy day and hangout with a close friend. The books are high quality in physical condition and the content that they hold. The caffé along with the arm chairs all help to make you feel like a proper, sophisticated, enlightened aristocrat! But seriously, I'm very glad I just stumbled across this store.

There are a lot of rare and harder to find copies of books that you already know, or may stumble upon while inside. David, the owner is an extreme pleasure to talk to. Be sure to check it out, Calgary!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I personally love this place! I’ve found such amazing gems here!! The owner is super nice as well! And the books (for being used) are at good prices! I would buy the whole store if I could. The store is located beside a small coffee shop as well, nothing better than to buy some books and drink some coffee❤️.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sigla bookstore is a magical place and this is no exaggeration !!! Do yourself a favor and visit this place and I promise you will not be disappointed. You will find a well curated selection of books and they are in excellent physical condition. Even the bookends are quaint and charming. The owner, David, is a delight to talk to and he is very passionate about his bookstore and the collection of books he has. Even if you don't buy a book, just go for a visit and have a conversation with David. He is incredible. By the way, there is a coffee shop attached to this bookstore and the gentleman who manages that café is also a sweetheart.
I really hope more people get to know about this hidden gem of Calgary. I highly recommend it!!!
