HAVE now been on hold for one hour and thirty five minutes to suspend service to my cabin. Complete disregard for their clientele and will NEVER hook up this service again. Took 10 minutes by phone to get and NOW CANNOT cancel or suspend service online you need to call in and wait for an agent

Waited an hour and a half with no response so finally hung up without resolving my issues. We are being charged $18 a month for the Crave App even though I was told months ago that my app wasn’t working because we had cancelled it . I thought maybe my husband had cancelled it but since we hardly ever watch it I didn’t think too much about it . But today Decided to get it back because there’s a show I want to watch so I phoned Shaw to get Crave reinstated . I was surprised to hear that we were still being charged but not for the basic package we originally signed up for but for the more expensive Platinum package. I was transferred to the Billings department to deal with the issue . So I’ve wasted an hour and a half on a Saturday night and it’s bedtime so I’m going to have to try all over again tomorrow. Ridiculously poor service! Shame on you Shaw for treating your customers so poorly .

More than 2 hours on hold and no one has answered the phone there. They are literally making it impossible to cancel services. Live chat reps are useless and refuse to cancel service or do a seasonal suspension. Calling my credit card company to reverse payments on this company. Unreal....

If I could rate Shaw Direct lower than a one I would. I have been with them for as long as they have been in business at least 15 years,. Over that time I have suffered through bad service and products, a list so long it boggles the mind. Why did I stay with them? When I started with them they offered a service called home away from home by which I could get service in a remoter location, where nothing else was available at the time, as an attachment to my home service. This events of this weekend are an example of what Shaw Direct is like to deal with. First of all their phone queues are always long. Once I got through I went through a diagnostic with the call taker who then determined that I needed a service call to my home. Once the technician showed up at my home he refused to come in the house because I gave my opinion of Shaw Direct service and products, which is terrible. He told me he wouldn't come in the house because he found my attitude hostile and subsequently left. Please note that Shaw Direct uses contract service technicians who seemingly get paid just for showing up. Even if they do come into your home they will find any excuse to get out even if they haven't solved the problem or will refuse to go into a crawl space or on and on. They just can't get out and on to the next call soon enough. I phoned the service number again , waited to long and finally got ahold of a work leader in Ontario. She apologized, rebooked my service call for later that day (before 5) and added that another work leader would follow up the next day with a phone call. I waited but you guessed it. no one showed up, no one called to explain why, and there was no follow up from a work leader the next day. Their service box breaks down continuously. It is in the process of breaking now. How can I tell, I have had so many units break I know. I have just quit Shaw Direct I just couldn't take it anymore. My recommendation, If your looking for satellite TV service go somewhere else. use DVD's, prerecord video, Learn to play Monopoly again, do anything but sign up with Shaw Direct.

This may be the worst company to deal with for service and product. I have been a Shaw Direct customer for about 12 years now and have had nothing but problems. They never listen to you and always tell you that the problems are your fault. I have been on hold this time for over 30 minutes trying to get my satellite signal issues resolved yet again. This is the 5th time in the past two months. If you are thinking about going to Shaw Direct, THINK AGAIN. It can't get any worse than this. They used to offer to provide a call back service, but they don't even do that anymore. I'm done.

Service is horrible, each time took about hour for the call answer whatever you having issues. So I calling them several times for cancellation since last month, and I waited more than hour and still no one pick up the calls. By then I sent several emails for the cancellation and them to call back to confirm, it still no one respond. Today finally I got lucky I waited 15 minutes and the lady answered, but she use the excuse that they will not respond for email cancellation, and she also not explain why they never call me back as I requested. And she just simply charged me for the services till today... 3- hours passed away they promised that will send cancellation in written by email, until now I still didn't receive...

Had an appointment set up for a technician to come to my house and he was a no show. Took time off of work and everything. Not even a call saying that he wouldn't be showing up. Very poor service. But they will take your money no problem.

The worst. I set up an install for our satellite tv at the cottage. They never showed. Called 3 times and they said a manager would call within 48 hours. Never called after a week. Worked out for us. Called Bell had the install done within 4 days, $20 a month cheaper then Shaw and a much more updated system then what Shaw offered. Also belong to a cottage association and posted my concern about Shaw and NOT one person had anything to say good about Shaw. Don’t waste your time with them find a different provider. Let’s hope Rogers buys them out and maybe their staff will have jobs because right now that company is going down.
