I drove the car out to Kamloops two days after purchasing it and no problems at all. Solid car and solid used dealership. Would definitely recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great used Car lot ! They will go the extra step to ensure their vehicles have been properly inspected and are in great condition. They are honest and will support you if your car needs any maintenance down the road. I bought a Subaru from them for a great price and was greatly pleased on how they assisted me in the process. They also helped me when I had a maintenance issue with my car even though it was my own fault. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a used car.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purchased a car with 15,000 kms, car required $6,000.00 in repairs to be roadworthy. I had repairs performed by the OEM dealership. This gravel lot dealer tried to make it sound like the damages were somehow my fault. I see a trend where they have tried to blame others in reply to 1 star reviews. Do not purchase a car from them without an independent inspection.
No, it's not normal "wear and tear". No, I didn't fill the $2,000 headlights with water before I glued them back together for the insurance repair.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought a car from Shaleridge and a wheel bearing began to fail on the way home. They failed one at a time over the next month totalling in 1800$ worth of repairs. I don't doubt that they have some good cars, but would strongly suggest a 3rd party inspection by BCAA before purchase if you have any doubts or lack mechanical expertise. Please also consider the risk of buying a car that was already written off by ICBC. It doesn't matter what shape it's in. That won't matter if you hit a deer or someone drives into you in a parking lot.
If you are like I was and you're here trying to reassure yourself because you have a bad feeling you can't explain, I encourage you to listen to your gut. There are other dealerships, and a trip to a bigger city to buy a car ( like I ended up doing just a few months later when the mechanical problems became greater than the value of the car) can be well worth it. Maybe even worth 8000$ which is what I ended up spending on a car that is now worthless less than year later. Yes, Brady. I changed the oil at the recommended intervals.
