There is no shame in getting tested for STIs, and this clinic really makes you feel at ease. Booking an appointment was very easy. The waiting time was short - less than 10 minutes. It's actually easier and quicker to come here than it is to see my family doctor. The staff is extremely friendly, open, supportive, and non-judgmental. The facility is very clean, and they have WiFi to make your wait a little less stressful. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic.

Ontario. ca states that this place is open for walk ins on Fridays from 9-12. I took the morning off and arrived promptly just before 9 to get in the queue for what should be a very quick test. Instead I am told that the Ontario website is incorrect and I am not allowed to get tested. I completely wasted my time and am now discouraged from getting tested at all. Should we not trust a provincial government website? After all, this clinic is funded by the province. Don’t waste your time going here. The province should reduce their funding.

had a good experience here, they're non-judgemental, and were very understanding of my anxiety about needles & they were very helpful

Best IUD Insertion Service in Ottawa, Really Friendly Staff! This is one of the very few places in the city of Ottawa that you can easily book an appointment for IUD insertion. If you need, the IUD can be provided free of charge. I had the option to have the IUD inserted on the same day as the initial consultation, but since I have a drug plan I opted to come back for insertion. The doctor who performed the procedure was very informative and reassuring. First of all a questionnaire was presented to me with all the possible side effects or potential issues with this procedure; then a pregnancy dip test was conducted. On every step before she actually performed anything, she explained to me ahead, like "I will now touch your thigh", "I will now pull the old IUD out", etc. Nowhere during the entire procedure that I was stressed or felt unsafe. The entire procedure lasted about 15 min, including the pre-insertion consultation and pregnancy test. Location is fairly central, in the heart of the Byward Market, easily accessible by public transportation. I drove to the clinic and was surprised that there is on street parking right in front of the clinic with very reasonable rates. The clinic also provides check-up service 4-6 weeks post insertion, to make sure that the IUD stays in place (free exchange by the manufacturer if it falls out), and that the cord can be felt. The entire process was quick, efficient and painless. Highly recommend!

The staff here are the best! So friendly, non-judgemental, and knowledgeable. They really made me feel at ease and were great to talk to. I wish the doctor who helped me could be my family doctor. The clinic itself is nice and the wait time wasn't too bad either. I also really appreciate how inclusive it is when asking about gender.

have never had a bad experience here. the staff make you feel 100% comfortable. it requires a bit of patience to book an appointment on the phone (10-20 minutes on hold), but it’s worth it to book one ahead of time! walk-in wait times can be long. the tucked away location is great for if you’re feeling insecure about going in.

Came here for testing and the service was great. So non judgmental and my nurse was the sweetest woman ever! It was a quick in-and-out. My only complaints are the wait times. I think I waited 3 weeks for an appointment. I called them on like 3 different occasions because their operating hours conflicted with my work schedule (given they’re only open for a few days for a few hours ?) not to mention the long phone hold! The government needs to give them more funding or open more clinics. It is not an excuse but I see why people put off getting tested. I hope this changes after CO-Vid

Communication can be improved. I checked the website to see if I was able to book an appt for birth control. No where does it say they are no taking on new patients. I call and book a screening , I'm informed there is an 8 week wait. A week later I do the phone interview screening and make an appt to go in in 2 weeks (this woman was wonderful to speak to, btw). I get a call the following day from someone else saying that they are not taking on new patients, says the other woman was misinformed and canceled my appt.
