Beware that you will be refused service if you do not book an appointment in advance. There are many people who are not tech savvy and do not know this prior to going to Service Ontario. On the Ontario.ca website under health card renewal, nowhere does it say that you must book an appointment. The information to book an appointment is only on the services.gov.on.ca website. They have people lining up outside in -13 degree weather for an hour and a half just to tell them that they can’t be serviced if they did not schedule an appointment online. As if they would be able to actually keep these appointment times given their ridiculously slow and poor service. Please inform everyone that you know so that they can avoid this situation.

It's small but very well organized. You are able to book an appointment online, at either serviceappointments or Ontarioappointments. When you arrive there are 2 lines outside, 1 for walk-ins, another for online appointments. If you have an appointment, you will go in 1st. There is someone at the door, instructing individuals. It is very safe, well structured and efficient. With my appointment I was able to go in and everything done, then out in under 10 minutes.

The room is really narrow/small, about 5 people can lineup against the wall inside. All others wait outside, no matter what weather. In this Covid time, they should try to discourage people bringing their young kids/babies into these kind of places. And with everyone talking, baby crying at the same time, I had difficulties hearing the officer. Don't forget there are barriers up also. Should I ask her to speak up? Just want to get out as fast as possible. They are working at reasonable speed.

Ofcourse there was a line up to get in outside. Once I got other front door I see there are about 10 people behind the counter but only 3 employees serving customers. Just ridiculous. The ones not serving anyone were gathered together chatting. Don't understand why they couldn't serve us. Was there an hour. Must say tho that the lady that served me was great. Got all my stuff in 5 minutes. Wasted 55 minutes in line when it could have been shorter if the other empire serving all the people on line. Very disappointing.

Expect to still wait a little even if you have an appointment. My appointment was on a Wednesday at 4pm. I arrived early at 3:45pm. Left at 4:10pm. Online booking system was easy to use. Got my appointment in just a few minutes. Confirmation and reminder emails were also received promptly without issue. There's a line up outside those are mostly for people who don't have an appointment. Let the staff at front door know your scheduled time and last name. Once they find it on their sheet, they'll let you in (unless they reached the max capacity inside). There're 4 - 5 clerks that day. Still it was pretty slow, especially when one of the clerks processed health card only (Idk, maybe due to system issue?). For most of the time I was there that clerk just sat there staring into space. It delayed the whole operation quite a lot. In my opinion they should dedicate one clerk to handle all simple tasks so people move faster and don't have to gather inside for a long time. I changed my address online already. I only needed a new printout of vehicle permit with new address on it. The whole process took no more than 3 minutes. Yet I had waited for 20 mins. Pretty good experience overall. Seriously, people please do your best to book appointment. Not only here. Many places I visited lately required an appointment. It always made thing super smooth for me. It's not just for the pandemic. It's where the world is heading. It's something you need to figure out sooner or later, regardless of your race, age, sex, education, wealth or tech literacy. Helping hands are everywhere if you're willing to ask.

The staff here is incredibly useless. They take forever to process anything, staff is seemingly technologically inept, and are incredibly rude with a lack of proper custom service skills. It is absolutely baffling how this branch is still open, and at a minimum, have not hired any YOUNGER staff workers who know how to properly use computers in an efficient manner, and provide effective service. They are extremely stubborn, and do not even know CONTENTS of the papers which they serve. Seriously, I was given a piece of paper outlining the specific criteria for validation on an ID wherein I came back a week later only for another staff member to say otherwise. How is it possible that these ladies have been working here for decades and not know what is considered valid to get an ID when they are serving the exact same paper. Extremely inefficient to the point it can be deemed incompetent, and an unprofessional environment which gives our government a terrible image that we have tax-paid workers who are good for nothing.

When we got there the line up is pretty long. Luckily we booked an appointment. They do prioritize people that booked the appointment Online.I assumed once they get through with the people with appointments, they help out walk- ins...when we were inside the process for us with complete documents is less than 10 minutes very quick and the lady that helps us is very helpful and respectful. I highly recommend to book your appointment before heading to Service Ontario at this location.

I was here a couple of days ago to help my mother renew her license and health card. We had an awesome experience. I wanted to tell the manager but couldn't find them so I wanted to come on here to provide a review. We had an appointment booked in advanced. When we arrived there was an organized line. Two staff members were outside helping to manage the line and were friendly - which isn't common at Service Ontario or Drive Test Centres. When we got served, the agent was very efficient and professional. I will be coming to this location in the future.
