This Service Ontario is by far the most outrageous for customer service RUDE RUDE RUDE. If you’re unhappy with your job clearly you are don’t take it out on the people who pay your salary just move on! Asked a question and got a debate I didn’t go here to argue my question was very simple and no need to argue or belittle we are in the midst of a pandemic be kind people and get a life. I will never go back to this location in Newmarket. I ended up going to Bradford Service Ontario and not only answered my question she apologized for my experience received from Newmarket.

Went there during week days and it was not busy at all, the location is small but seems very well organized, the ladies work over there were very nice and patient. If you are looking for a not busy location this is the one to go.

My go to location to renew license plates, my licence and any other services that they provide. Customer service is a bit slow here but they make it quick and painless if you need to get anything renewed. Never had a problem here in the past and have been going here for many years now

My father and I just visited this location in hopes to replace my father's current license. When we approached the counter and handed his current license to the clerk she said it was still valid, however, my father fell victim to identity theft so that's why we're taking the steps to change his license. She looked at us with judgement and started asking insulting questions as to why this would happen. I told her that we would like a new license so he has a different number. She then told us that "she's just a clerk and doesn't change license numbers". So she gave us a phone number to call. After waiting in line and then driving home, we called the number, only for an automated message to tell us we need to go into a service ontario. My question is, why would we be denied service at the only place that we can change a license?! I can't even say this "service" was horrible because we didn't even get service.

Really really bad customer service. I just needed a document with my update address on it for my license and I was getting so much attitude from the clerk and not to mention a lady that jumped from her seat and wouldn't stop talking in the middle!!!! She was really really rude and disrespectful! Honeslty I had to leave and come back 3 times for something that should have taken 5 minutes all because the people working there have no manners, social and communication skills. They just give you attitude and treat you really bad. I would go as far as saying this lady is probably racist! Horrible service, won't be going back there.

EXTREMELY RUDE! The blonde lady (Debbie?)was so loud, yelling at people, everyone in the room can hear her talking about my stuff, where’s the privacy? Even to her coworker(the other blonde who was actually nice and patient and wanted to help me), she tried to prevent her from getting clarification from head office telling her she’s wasting time on me. Thinks she knows everything. Sounds miserable and taking it out on customers. I was told something different the first time I came here and this woman just jump to conclusions and refused to confirm the info with head office. Turns out 2 of the things I wanted to confirm, she was wrong about one and did not even apologize. Still a condescending nature. What’s even more ridiculous was I didn’t even ask her to help me, someone else was helping me and she just barged in from nowhere. Power struggle? Ego problem? If you’re stressed, please take stress leave and not be such a toxic person working in customer service. Oh goodness…Either train her or fire her. People should not tolerate this behaviour. After reading other reviews, I do think there’s a possibility of racism. Years of complaint and yet this Debbie still works here. Seems to be a pattern with those who leave horrific reviews..such shame.

The lady who is greeting people in was extremely unfriendly and rude. People are standing outside and keep going one people out one people out. When it’s my turn, there were 3 people came out from the office, and I step in, the lady was yelling and said “please step outside!” Finally I got in there, and there was a service desk behinds me, that I didn’t notice the lady at the service desk was waving her hand to ask me go to the desk. …..(I have no eyes on my back)…. The lady who is greeting people yell out again said “HEY wake up, next in line, what’s the problem, you fall in sleep? people are waiting out there and it’s cold” After me, she was keep letting people in when someone goes out. I felt this is some kind of racist to me, and feeling extremely uncomfortable with this kind of tone and language. Please remember this is SERVICE ONTARIO, it’s to SERVE the public… not to discriminate, yelling, being rude to the public. Just please send them to CUSTOMER Service Training. Learn how to better serve the public.
