★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All I wanted was a quote for my insurance company. Servicemaster was in my house for less than 45 minutes. Weeks later they still hadn’t sent the quote. I gave up following up with them and hired an alternate contractor. FOUR months later (without hearing from SM during this time) I got an invoice for 9 hours of work (that didn’t happen! for materials that were not used! - for a quote!?). I followed up with the company at multiple levels to try to resolve their clearly egregious invoice but was not satisfied with the resolution. Shady project managers, management and owner!

I made a call and he was there shortly after doing an assessment. He also helped us come up with a solution to fix and to prevent in the future. High recommendation!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately the work was not acceptable. They missed two baseboards that still had water damage and ripped paint when they replaced trim and didn’t bother to fix the paint first. They did come back quickly the next day to try to fix this but they still didn’t replace the boards they only painted them and paint on the wall was still looking like a patch job. When asked to at least discount for below par work, owner denied it was their work, yet it is shown on their invoice that it was part of the scope of work. Some of their work was well done, I am just sad to see that instead of trying to make it right he insisted o that there was nothing wrong with their work. Being a landlord that lives out of province this was not a good experience.
