Upon arrival there was zero queue. Spoke with the help desk rep who was pleasant.Had a little wait to get assistance from rep, however the staff was friendly and customer service was great. Got want I wanted completed pretty quickly.

Booked an appointment and was done within 30 minutes, Deedra (hope I spelled her name right) was such a sweetheart!

Went in to try to get my passport for my son and I. The front greeter was wonderful and was very helpful. She informed us that we can get in if it’s before 4 and will help us for usually 30mins ish after that inside She was so kind to make sure we got in. Sadly when we did get in, the lady who worked at the number 12 desk was the most disrespectful and rude person I have ever encountered. I usually do not leave reviews, but her blatant rudeness and the way she talked down to me warranted a response. I forgot one section on my form and instead of trying to help me find a solution and take time to explain and be helpful she kept on saying β€œwe are closing we don’t have time for this”, even tho the lady outside said they usually stay till 4:30 and it wasn’t even 4 yet. I had my 1 year old with me and we had waited an hour + to get in. I would have appreciated just some better guidance to ensure I knew what to do instead of being belittled for asking questions (this was my first time applying myself). I totally understood I needed to redo a part- but the way she made harsh comments and even joked about my competence instead of helping me was horrible.. It is extremely sad that my tax dollars produce this service.

Horrendous service. These reviews are all accurate with the rudeness, wait times and lack of direction. I show up before 11am and find the line up out in the mall hallway, waited 20 mins only to be told by a rude Comissionaire that the passport line up is on the other side and is a 90 min wait. Then proceeds to give me a paper saying to book online, yeah I’ve tried that. Requested for an online appointment, was advised someone would get back to me in 2 days…Then never heard back from anybody. So here I am standing in line for 90 mins. Service Canada needs more than one location, and at least need to acknowledge how bad this location is. Provide some benches, chairs or SOMETHING for the people waiting hours on end and have to sit on the floor.

What disrespect and rudeness of the people that work here. My wife pre booked and went in to get passports for our children. The woman working there basically told her to beat it. They tell us that they won't accept applications unless you have a trip booked within the next 2 weeks and there's nothing they will do for us. How are we supposed to book a trip and just "trust" that these lazy government workers are going to get the passports to us within a tight time frame. Can't believe my tax dollars go to pay for this.

well I went to renew my passport . not going any where yet . won't let you do it in person . have to mail it in . you can't even get an appointment unless you are within the 25 days . I should havve able to walk in to service canada and renew weather I am traveling or not . this is such a joke for them to make more money off of the extra fees

Drove from Edmonton with an appointment to get my passport. They took us in right away despite the walk-in lineup. Done in 15 mins. All of the staff members were courteous. Those who complain about lack of service and sense of over-entitlement are encouraged to do research, follow current procedures and you will be serviced in no time.

I can't believe the complete disrespect that my wife was just treated with. I am shocked our tax dollars are being given to this individual in a customer service position. Trying to renew our sons passport. The tone, and treatment was unacceptable. We are travelling in 35 days, not the specified less than 25 days (which was news to us). My wife works FULLTIME in the healthcare system, I work full-time as a business owner. If I treated customers the way she was just treated I would not have a business to own, how can someone continue to have a job with reviews like this plastered all over google!
