Both security and employees are rude and slow as per usual. This location is still better than others but the lazy employees throughout all locations really make everything take longer than they’re supposed to.

Visited this place after seeing many negative reviews, but my experience was totally different.. I reached the place around 2:30 pm for my SIN number and the process hardly took 15 to 20 mins... Staffs are very polite and helpful

I was there at the Service Canada with one of my friend to get her the SIN number, since she is new to canada. They literally made us wait for 3 1/2hrs in the line. Crazy it was...! I don't wanna give any better reviews to the place.

300 people in line, 8 cubicles for attention but only 3 people doing the work, 5 empty! More than 4 hours to get a SIN that, considering the not too long line, should have taken only half hour or 45 minutes top. Terrible, awfully slow service.

I went there yesterday to hand in Paperwork. Don't really like the location in the downtown setting. Staff seem to be pleasant and was not long of a wait time as other people mentioned in their Reviews. Only I did not like is the Parking. I parked far away and walked there.

Would give a 0 if I could. I applied for my passport 2 months in advance of my trip, they expected arrival date was 3 weeks after my application. My trip is in 2 weeks and they still haven’t reviewed my application. There is a good chance that I will miss my trip because of their delays. My recommendation is that people wait until 25 days before their trips so that you can go straight to a passport office and expedite the process (you’ll have to pay more but you can get it 2 days later). I asked when I was at the service centre if I should wait to expedite - they told me not to bother because I was doing it enough in advance…

I was here a day ago. The place is a dump. Unsafe, messy, everything but Service Canada and one food court restaurant is open. Everything has gone out of business. Massive lineup and only two people were inside at the time. Not in a safe area at all, especially if you have children. You're better off going to the Cambridge location or the Passport office. Only one elevator out of three that I found worked. It's a nightmare for anyone with a disability or a stroller to navigate. I ended up having to pay for parking even though I was only there for a few minutes (it's $2.00 for 30 minutes). I was not impressed with it because of a security guard who works there. I would have made it back to my vehicle in time and not have to pay if this security wasn't condescending and rude. The security guard was on an "I wanted to be a cop but didn't make it, so I'm going to abuse my powers" high. After seeing the massive lineup, I turned around to go back to the only elevator working in the building to get back to my car. The security guard yells at me, saying, "Miss. Where are you going?" "Umm, to my car." She then scolds me and says I can't go that way because they're closing it down for construction. Proceeds to give me wrong directions to a different elevator. I tried to go back to the old one because that one wasn't working. She again has an attitude and gives directions for another one. I go to the other one. She stalks me and follows my baby and me to the elevator in the garage, and says in a condescending tone, "Oh, look, you found it." If she treats a woman and an infant like that, I'm willing to bet she treats homeless people a hundred times worst.

I arrived at 8.15 am today expecting to have to wait because they do not open until 8:30. I was 30th person in line and once they opened, I was done in about 1 hour and friendly service. I visited them to apply for my passport and my wife's passport.I parked on level one in Market Square which was very convenient because the entry to Service Canada is accessible from the parking garage and brings you right in to the area where Service Canada is located. Great experience given by the official. Thanks ?
