★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very new and clean, not too busy, didn’t wait for elevator. Used for 4 months while selling/buying house. Easy online payment for monthly fees and the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that you have pay for their lock at beginning and is not returnable at the end. No big deal and I would definitely use their lockers again. Wonder if that lock is reusable?

I had two units with this site, the experience was fantastic, their place is clean, well maintananced. The people work there are all nice, Adam, Nicolas, and other two ladies, they are all warm-hearted, whenever you grab a backup key or have questions abt the billing, they're always there to help. Movin-in & out were smooth as well, as a realtor, I recommand this place to all my clients if they need some room for storage.

Ruth, who is the only general manager I've known there, is amazing and the most pleasant person I've come to deal with. The facilities are so clean and well maintained. I never knew having a storage unit could be such a pleasant experience. An awesome company with great staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good experience, affordable spacious 2 buildings across from another. Quiet place to store your items, can take your time inside if you need to have a coffee break and sort your items. No one bothers you and the staff is nice! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have kept my personal property at Self Store in North York for nearly three decades, and I've never had a concern about the security of my unit. The buildings are always immaculately clean and well-lit, and Ruth Jackson (and Pat on weekends) are always wonderfully helpful as I've been steadily downsizing my lifestyle. Ruth has always gone the extra mile in help the moving process go as smoothly as possible and has been indispensable. Even though I am no longer living near Self Store, I will keep my property there for as long as possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently rented a unit as I was moving from Durham Region to Toronto. Ruth, I believe, was the name of the staff that registered me and helped me obtain the unit. She was extremely pleasant, informative and timely. The entire move-in and move-out experience I cannot complain about. I always felt as if my things were safe in the unit and I felt safe puttering in and out as needed. Also, the promotional pricing literally could not be beat across the city. Thanks again guys! Keep up the great work Self-Stor North York.
