★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought a "stainless steel" nose ring from Sea Jewels last week and it has already started to tarnish. Not good quality at all and obviously not "stainless" as advertised. Disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sea Jewels is a jewel of a shop (there are a few locations in SW Ontario) full of lovely bits and pieces. I love their necklaces and earrings, spouse loves their creative mens' rings, kids like the string figures and intriguing sculptures, and we all love the musical instruments. They also stock clothing and various bags and backpacks. Great for gifts and souvenirs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not from Bayfield was visiting family, live over an hour away and would not be coming back anytime soon. Bought a “sterling silver” anklet, paid $40 wore it for a few hours on my drive home went to remove it and it broke. Called the store basically told me there was nothing I could do other than bring it to the store so they could have it, tried to explain that I live far away and would not be traveling back anytime soon. And all they had to say was, “I’m not sure what you want me to do”, no remorse (not even an apology), didn’t even want to know how it happened or what was broken. Unfortunate that such a cute store is selling cheap jewelry as something that it is obviously not and can’t even attempt to accommodate travelling customers when I’m sure most of their customers are tourists. I hope they learn from their mistakes because I for one will not be returning.
