An absolute gong show of bad customer service - the branch location is bad because the parking lot is hard to navigate, the tellers are slow and chatty with old folks about politics and masks and vaccines, so the line moves very very slowly and the branch manager Josh is a total elitist that is happy to send business elsewhere if you don’t fit his definition of a prim and proper banking minion. Go to literally any other bank and save yourself the frustration.

Worst customer experience from Neil and Ryan!!!! Paid off a loan, had to ASK for a receipt of the transaction. Seems like Neil is new or just doesn't care... Then I got a call letting me know they didn't' have the right amount the first time had to come back for $3.75. Again terrible service!! Not once did I get sorry for the inconvenience , and again had to ask for a receipt!!! I would NOT recommend this bank or branch!!!!!

So I have had the pleasure of dealing with Ryan and Megan who have both been excellent to deal with. Ryan who is a personal banker and financial advisor does an excellent job and works hard for the client giving good advice to actually save me money. Then through my own poor memory I wrote a cheque on an account that I don’t use and instead of bouncing it which any bank would do Megan the assistant manager called me and allowed me to move the money to the correct account. I see some poor reviews on here and I can’t speak to those situations but I can tell you my experience has been really good. I would recommend this branch and these two people without any hesitation. Not with standing the others I have spoken to there have been wonderful as well. Thank you guys again.

The atm outside and inside is always temporarily out of service and today the doors to inside are locked. If someone needs a Scotiabank atm just south of at the 7 eleven on the corner of southland and Macleod their is a machine inside.

Pia is completely unprofessional! Just witnessed this entire branch collectively ignore an old man who was clearly suffering from a mental issues and was a paying customer. They sincerely were more concerned about getting out of there on time instead of helping their customers. Shame on everyone who works at this particular branch. Just lazy!

Opened a small business account. Was supposed to get a company credit card. Nov, 2021. It's March 31 2022 still no card. The lack of accountability and professionalism is shameful. When I'm able I WILL be switching banks.

After a short trip to this branch today, I am left wondering why did that lady had to go out of her way to be so rude? I needed to withdraw cash and the teller told me that I could only withdraw up to $3k from the branch per day. I requested her if she could increase my ATM withdrawal limit so that I could withdraw some more cash from the ATM. And she kindly obliged - handed me a form to sign to have my withdrawal limit increased. She suggested I could make a draft instead and I replied saying that while I understand that’s an option, this time I just needed some cash. I asked her if I could come back tomorrow morning to withdraw some more cash (as I could not withdraw the entire amount I needed today). She double checked with her colleague and confirmed I could do that. All of this happened in a very cordial and courteous manner. However, I noticed a lady (probably the branch manager), listening in to the conversation from the side and suddenly starting to aggressively tell me that they cannot entertain this need of mine and that I should pre-order the cash and should not come to the branch tomorrow to withdraw more cash as they need to keep cash for other customers. I was taken aback by her tone - she was behaving as if I am asking for something inappropriate and she is compelled to raise her voice at me and tell me the difference between right and wrong. Technically, is there even a rule that stops customers from withdrawing cash up to the limit everyday? I don’t think anyone would do that but is there a rule stopping one from doing so? I told her that in that case, my wife could come tomorrow and withdraw cash from her account - and to that, she is like β€˜but your accounts would be treated as one’ and I reply that her account is separate. Then she finally steps back but even then continues to condescendingly β€˜advise’ that I should pre-order and make a bank draft instead. Asks me about my home branch - I tell her that I just moved to the city with my family and don’t have a home branch yet. Zero relationship building, zero empathy and zero interest in understanding and helping out a customer. I have been in a customer facing role all my career but never seen such a pathetic branch manager - will never do business at this branch again and more so, will reconsider our relationship with Scotia altogether. It doesn’t take much to be kind and talk with courtesy - I would encourage you to kindly learn something from your teller or consider changing your profession altogether.
