We renewed our mortgage in this branch with the great help of Stephen. He answered all of our questions and got back to us when he said he would. We highly recommend this branch!

Although the the staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful in assistance, the management staff is very incompetent and lack expΓ©rience in solving customer banking issue at a management level. Been banking with scotiabank for almost 6years but with a different branch and i never had any complain or issues. But transfering my home branch to this location i realize how poor the management was! Management decided to close my account due to one incident within 6 years of servicing which i was not even responsible for. I was only aware of his sole decision when i randomly visited the branch and he seem happy about his decision and didnt care and suggested i bank somewhere else. Scotiabank was my very first bank i had an account with. I used to believe it was a great bank better than most out there but am disappointed. Do not attempt to deal with serious banking matters with this branch as they are inexperience.

My Mortgage Adviser very helpful always available when we had any questions. She was very caring and a outstanding Woman. This branch has always had my mortgage and will continue to do so.I have never had any issue with them. .

Two stars are because the staff at the front desk are friendly. However, I feel like every time I go in there is someone being trained (or they are just incredibly slow). Service takes forever even if there are only two people in front of you. I always have to check that correct cash has been given because it has been counted incorrectly on 3 occasions. My partner has had two appointments with 'Financial Advisers' for credit cards. The first time the guy had zero product knowledge and was just reading off the screen- in fact, I was reading it quicker than he was. He was stumbling over the words and would read things in error, which we would have to continue to correct and clarify! We were in there for a very painful 90 mins and he still hadn't even lodged the application. He said he would finish up and call us in the week when he had submitted it- we never got that call and it was never submitted. The second time was marginally better but we also didn't manage to have our application submitted in the appointment despite providing all documents. The application process took over three weeks from the date of our appointment because the 'Adviser' just never bothered to send it off. He also never answered his phone and after three weeks of trying to contact him, he said that his phone was playing up?? right. He also seemed to come into the office at his leisure because he was never there when we tried to follow up in person. Eventually we got the card but I have since changed banks. No respect for your time. Every body works and you shouldn't have to spend that many man hours chasing.

Absolutely useless staffing. Was told something completely different in person than I was told with customer service over the phone, resulting in me wasting 3 months trying to get an account welcome bonus and being unable to qualify for it due to this misinformation. I cannot handle incompetence of staff with no accountability. Will never again bank with Scotiabank. Would like to give 0 stars.

the front desk people are very nice, but they’re unable to do simple tasks. i tried cashing my check from work (because things have been weird since quarantine) and they’re telling me i’ve never gotten checks from this company before.... which is impossible, i’ve been working at my job for a year now .... and to fix the issue they told me i need a teller to write a note on my account so there wouldn’t be an issue the next time i cash a check, so i ask the teller i’m talking to to do that and he just says no.... him and the manager were acting as if it’s my fault when they’re the ones who work for the bank !!! this branch needs to close because everyone in there is useless .

Relatively quiet spot to do your banking. The lobby is quite spacious and the teller services were quick and helpful. The bank manager there is really eager to know the satisfaction of my visit when I first opened my account with them. Though no fault to the branch, I find the ATM service to be difficult to work with at times. Depositing cash, most of my cash was rejected despite being bills in good condition.
