Great Staff and lots of them. In the 16 years I've been dealing with them I've never had a problem. If you're stuck there is always the Noth end location on Saturdays. I'm generally in and out of there in less than 10 mins tops. I like the downtown location but parking can be a hassle. I wish they were more competitive with their mortgage rates. Then I'd do all my banking there.

Worst bank in vernon both branches are useless i asked a few questions and was treated like a nuisance. Every time i call i wait on hold for 10 to 15 minutes. Im on hold right now i just wanna know the branch number. There is no way they are this busy and if so hire another receptionist. Unacceptable. There hours are useless if you work during the day ive seen them close the door in an old mans face who ran at the last minute to try and get some banking done. Good job guys. Ill try and add a pic of my wait time which is at 17 min now.

Went into this branch to inquire about how to access my account in Germany. After 10 mins of trying to find the information, the woman told me the specific bank machine I could access. I just left the bank machine in Germany where it informed me I need to call my bank to get access to my account here. Um, isn't that why I walked into the branch before I left? Of course, I can't do that because I am in Germany! No cash, no way to get cash, and 4:30 on a Friday. Most businesses here take cash. This has really screwed me over, utterly appalled at the misinformation I was provided.

The local staff are good, but the Customer Service, lost cards in the mail and difficulty with interacting, in general, make me want to find another bank!

2020 06 08. I came into the branch to change the address on my bank account as I have just moved to Vernon and also had some issues with my credit card getting a hold attached. The lady with the glasses and grey hair in a pony tail was very rude and provided the worst customer experience I have ever experienced. I was told a manager would be giving me a call back but I never received a call back. Very disappointed and considering switching to another bank.

Do not use Scotia Bank for anything! Worst service ever. Actually lied to me so they didn't have to do what I asked . I have been depositing my pay checks the same way for several years with no holds and no problems. Now they decide to put a hold on my paycheck without any kind of notice, forcing me to borrow money from someone else so I could pay my rent on time. So I go down to the main branch and said " Why are you all of a sudden putting a hold on my checks?" . The teller went to the manager and asked why. She came back and told me they will are going to continue to put holds on my check because I had a bankruptcy! I HAVE NEVER EVER HAD A BANKRUPTCY!!!!!! SO DONE WITH THE UNPROFESSIONALISM!!!! You should shut down for good!!

I am tired of having to call the call centre (or whatever it is!) line and be put on hold forever in order to try and speak with a rep at the Vernon 30th Ave branch. Once I finally get into the branch and speak to a teller they are usually very friendly and helpful! But I do have mobility issues which make it difficult for me to get in at the drop of a hat. Also, I just wonder IF, and HOW OFTEN management actually READ the reviews? If they don’t, then they surely SHOULD read them, esp the 1-* reviews. Having read through them all while I was on hold this morning, it almost made me,decide to switch banking institutions! They are pretty HORRIFIC!

Same problem as everyone else. Try to phone the branch and there's no way to actually get through to them. Instead it's an endless computer menu followed by a minimum 30 mins on hold. Heaven forbid someone at the branch actually answers a call. And the contact center doesn't even offer a call back service. Who in their right mind has half an hour to sit on hold!! It demonstrates a complete lack of customer care. I've switched to a local credit and it's been the best banking experience of my life. A real local person on the phone within minutes.
