★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible, horrible service. As a premier account holder, the personal manager Sergio is a lazy, unresponsive employee. Replies to my occasional emails are almost non existent , and usually only a copy paste from the website info.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would like to express my disappointment as today l walked in asking to get some change and l was turned down as l do not have an account at this bank. In my mind that's really bad customer service and as a business owner l absolutely do not want to have anything to do with a company that treats their customers this way . Just down the road CIBC had no problem helping me with my request.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Deposited cash at teller. A hold was placed on it and was not available over a long weekend. Online chat with HSBC confirmed they were holding it but could not tell me why and would not do anything to help resolve . Told me to go to branch when it opens again. Who puts a hold on cash deposited at a teller other than these idiots

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately even as a Premier account holder I have to agree with most of the reviews before me, this bank the staff and the management has a sense of entitlement and a lack of sense for good customer service. Also like to mention that it is the only bank that has no access to the ATM after 8PM.
Their processes rules and mortgage approvals are also overly strict and unrealistic, not in tune with the other major banks.
