★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a old visa debit card that was cancelled. I had Rifco put a 500.00 non authorize Payment through my account. Went to bank and told them all they could do for me was nothing. I have a new card and new number. Closed accounts and moving to new bank as they can do nothing for me. This is one way to louse a costumers. Told me all I can do is pay 12.50 for a stop payment.

Not helpful in any way and would not recommend this person or this company for any of your banking needs. Seek financial assistance elsewhere because you will not find it here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review applies to CIBC in general. Do not waste your time in calling their 800 number if you have an issue. I was put on hold for 2.5 hours recently after trying to sort out an issue with the Costco MasterCard change-over. My big beef is "why does CIBC not offer a call-back service". They just don't care. We went through this same issue when we were trying to set up a RIFF about 18 months ago - we were put on hold for at least 2 hours on 5 different occasions. If anyone ran their own private business like this, they would be out of business.
