C	Chris Feher on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schreiters is my favourite high end furniture store. I’ve been shopping there for years. Even when I was a semi broke new graduate buying smaller or cheaper items there was no pretentiousness from sales staff at all. I had a small issue with a chair that I bought from them, but they made it right in a reasonable amount of time which is all you can ask for. I liked the “romanticness” of their previous location but their new Belmont location is MUCH more practical. I would also like to add that their remote customer service during the shutdown was great (echoing comments from below).

Even amid a pandemic, everyone we interacted with in the course of a recent purchase was helpful, responsive, and took the extra time to ensure we were completely satisfied. Valeria, in particular, was excellent. Will definitely shop here in the future and recommend highly.

The one tall woman with dark hair who helped me over the weekend assumed she knew my budget (which I hadn’t shared with her) as she showed me the specific type of couch I was looking for. She noted, “Oh but they’re 5-10k” implying that this too expensive for me. Note to Schreiters employees, who only make minimum wage, don’t presume to know others’ financial situations and try acting warm and welcoming next time. Extremely disappointing. Quite a prejudice and and unwelcoming atmosphere; I would not recommend this place.

Beautiful inventory, interesting and timeless items and great, friendly service. The vintage pieces used as decor bring an element to the store that I haven't seen elsewhere.
