★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Phenomenal experience. Authentic Pakistani cuisine, must say a complete treat to taste-buds. Meat is halal, super juicy and tender, which is difficult to be found in many restaurants. The owner of the café, as well as the staff members are too polite and respectful, making sure of treating customer's needs as their priority. I highly recommend everyone to visit 'Café on Route'. Definitely a lifetime customer!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service and the freshness of food i had never expected in Canada before. The order take time to get ready but I recommend to order before you go. The service is good, dealing is good humble and helpful. I ordered 4-5 things and only one smoosa showed up the quality they are serving to the community.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 4/5 due to hygienic food. home style poori halwa n low spice chickpea and potato sides. Not soo extra ordinary. Recommended for people who like less spices and homemade food.
The owner has other franchise with the name of Qorma in waterloo after acquiring it from past middle eastern owner.

So one night all the Indian restaurants are closed, and since this place is only open after midnight, I decided to order Paneer Tikka Masala from them,
The location is not matching with the pics, I assume they moved to a new location, but I hope they could update the pics on google maps too so it's easy to find.
The paneer tikka masala came with 1 paratha and rice, the paneer tikka Masala was acceptable, but I must say their paratha and rice was really good in the price point!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Um WOW. I ordered two nights in a row. Authentic and absolutely bursting with flavour, great prices and even better portions, the owner is so nice too. The chicken Tikka Masala was insanely good, it's spicy though but we love that. The butter chicken is REAL butter chicken and so flavourful, they even give you a good amount of bread (paratha) and it was so hot and fresh even at midnight. Best Indian food I have had in KW and I have tried them all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I did order from this restaurant for my first time and it was a disaster, I am so disappointed. I don't know how they have more than 4 stars!!!
The chicken samosa was very bad I couldn't take a bite, it was very hard and to be honest I am not sure what has inside it and you can see the picture There is something discusting and hard inside.
The butter chicken doesn't look and doesn't taste like a butter chicken at all, it has a horrible salty taste with no flavor.
You have to respect the customer and not sending them old food, you have to throw them not taking money from people so they can throw them for you!!
Shame on you!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food isn't great. We got the veg briyani and chicken briyani. Loved the free complimentary cookie we got with our order. The taste of the Briyani was extremely spicy. Trust me, I eat a lot of spicy food but this was kind of different. I'm writing this review after 14 hours since we ate these, and my tummy is still burning. The briyani was non sticky white rice, mixed with chilli powder and food color I guess. The veg briyani and the chicken briyani tasted the same, only the meat/vegetables were different. There could be people who may love this style but this wasn't for us. If you are looking for an authentic briyani experience, this is definite no-go! But if you are just looking for a quick meal at an affordable price, with a good portion and you don't mind the taste, this could be something for you. We haven't tried any of the other dishes, so we can't comment on them.
