Best Grocery store in Canada

V	Valerie Lynn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ April 2, 2021 between 12:00 and 2:00 PM - I just had to write that today was one of the most pleasant shopping experiences I have had at this store. It is usually "OK" but today every staff member with whom I had contact was exceptionally friendly and helpful. However, the staff member who topped the list was the cashier -name is "Oielpa " - the spelling is outrageous, I know, but there cannot be too many in the store with a name close to his. I wanted to fill out a customer service form but there were none at the front of the store. Even while I was looking for them a clerk offered to get me one, but I needed to leave so I thanked him and said I would come back later. As I said - all were friendly and helpful. Besides the clerks all being friendly, the products were good too. I have not always found the produce particularly fresh but today it definitely was. Also, I need to compliment a person who must be the store manager or the assistant store manager. He helped me in various places in the store and seemed to be working all over the place. Congratulations to the staff - again one of the most pleasant grocery shopping experience I have had in a long time. Valerie Schepannek, Hope BC
m	mike cameron on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Normally I don’t shop anywhere else but in the last month I’ve seen people not wearing masks and being very loud about it and announcing that they don’t wear masks! No one in the store says anything, or does anything to enforce the masks mandate that is clearly posted in the doors when you enter. So I’ll be shopping somewhere else!

They are very helpful. Update Apr 08 - more empty shelves but still friendly and helpful staff. Still my go-to store in Hope.
H	Hendrick VanLaar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have everything you need, but not the selection of Chilliwack superstore. For example, they will have 8 flavours of wraps vs 15 at a bigger store. You can get what you want, but if you have super niche needs, it might be a little more difficult here. The price difference, on average, is surprisingly small. We have priced out large grocery orders multiple times and the difference has been absolutely minimal to cheaper than Chilliwack. Food quality is fine. Their turnover is high enough that you don't have to worry about rotting food, and they tend to offer brands, and the western food knockoffs that are good enough, or sometimes better, if you are not a sommelier. Overal I'm very pleased. I am newer to hope, but my family does almost all of its grocery shopping at hope saveon foods.
A	Angela Tasker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped to buy a forgotten item on our way through on a trip. We decided we needed a bite to eat and hit the Save On deli to stay away from fast food. Picked out a sandwich and asked Pam if she would microwave it for us. She was so sweet and said I could, but if you have 5 minutes I could bake it for you and it will be much better. Pam was right and so friendly! Made the journey much more delicious. Thanks Pam!!
