J	Jesse Young on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just a typical save on foods. Not as tight as say the Oak Bay Save on Foods. Which is a robust fruit and veggie department, lots of stock and not run on the backs of elderly employees and as many youth as possible. The discontinued aisle is on a rack where the constant bathroom line up stands as the freight door from the warehouse. Only one door for the entrance and one door for the exit which has no divider for the lobby with the 4 sets of doors.

I usually spend more time waiting in line to pay than I do shopping. They've recently installed self check-out kiosks but with a major oversight. You are unable to use your phone number tied to your rewards cards. Since I don't have a physical rewards card, this is useless for me.

I was shopping in the Sidney, BC Save-On-Foods yesterday when I saw one of their employees wearing only a face shield, not a mask. He was working his way along the checkout lines, collecting empty shopping baskets, and standing very close to customers. Face shields are not considered face coverings under the BC health order dated 29 October 2021. Save-On-Foods expects all customers to wear face coverings, and BC health orders require it - so why doesn't Sidney Save-On-Foods require all of their employees to wear them? If this employee has a valid exemption, why is he placed in public-facing positions?

P	Peter on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another day, another weird disappointment at Save-on. 4 pm on a Tuesday, and the meat counter is closed, the people are gone, the meat is gone. Really, it hasn’t occurred to them somebody might want to buy fresh-cut meat after 4? And what is the deal with why they never have enough (or sometimes zero) carts outside? I mean, isn’t that the first thing a customer needs? And yes, I know it’s Covid and there are staff shortages, but somehow the other Sidney grocery stores have it figured out. In my view, this store has not figured out they are in the service business and it is not up to the Save-On standard. And if management responds to this, take whatever they say with a grain of salt…
E	Erin Byrne on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can we please, somehow enforce the reserved parking for grocery pick up here? 90% of the time when I come for pick up, there are cars parked in the 2 spots, no one in them. No one actually picking up groceries. It's so frustrating. Either enforce it, or make it more clear, I don't know but no other grocery store that I've been to that offers online pick up seems to have this issue. Just this location. It's such a needed service, so please fix this.
