Idk i guess they do try helping but its so difficult they are sometimes meaning the social workers are hard to deal with.

Not very helpful when in complex situations. Staff are really nice till you run into the soup Nazi intake workers. They act like everything you say is a lie and insinuate you are just trying to scan the government. My wife suffers from multiple disorders and conditions; the worker Nijat I met with was horrible, as she started berating my wife because her anxiety causes her to feel she is being verbally attacked by blunt people. I have worked in customer service and I know how to be polite, so I asked Nijat to be more polite as I felt insulted myself by how she spoke, I explained my wife's condition to her and she said my wife needed to stop being rude and yelling, which my wife was not, she was only retorting to the insulting tone and accusations she was getting from the worker. I will be filing a complaint with someone when I find out how as no one should be treated like this.

This place is an absolute joke to society. Literally my gf is unemployed and needs a job so shes on social services till then. But she has no money. Social services expects her to somehow make it across the city in - 30 to pick up a move form, then go back and get it signed by her landlord, then go all the way back to pick up her cheque. On top of this they told her they will cancel everything if she doesn't come within the next 5days. They expect so much of ppl. Like how do you expect us to make it there. They were literally holding her cheque for her not bringing in her taxes. Yeah they asked for taxes, what meal you ate the other day, the last time you got off and more. They will hold your cheque for any reason. Their system...its a poor excuse for a system. Idk what they do there all day other than sit and do nothing. I know they are here to help. But at the same time they do a terrible job of it. Yes they have helped out alot but they are extremely difficult to deal with. They are lazy. Impossible to get ahold of. Terrible customer service. Sometimes straight up rude and ignorant when your being nice to them. Honestly once my gf gets a job good riddens to them. Highly advise you dont deal with them. They dont even deserve my one star...

I gave two stars as some people are helpful and.polite while many others are rude and belittling attitudes. It is not easy to ask for a handout. .and the staff can be confusing..I submitted all my.paperwork and have had to beg plead and practise patience to get the help I have needed.. I am stuck with no money ..found a clean place to live can't afford to live on own all paperwork submitted and still my service is suspended...stressful and they make.it.me. stressful

I don't have a good review for social services because they belittle people they don't make people feel like they're they're worth anything I have been on social assistance and to me they look down on people they don't care about people... the only thing I can be thankful for is when they had the Saskatchewan skills development program and help people actually find a job or give some training.

With the client call centre being so hard too talk to a human,social workers should have the same authority as the client call people.I have been trying too call the client call center for 3 WEEKS!.I call right at 8am but I can not get through! This SIS Program people need to allow social workers to help them! I picked(this only happened once in three weeks) to talk too"someone"that person had a terrible attitude and say"call the client center, I'll transfer you"then I suddenly heard the hang up tone!. I really wish social workers had the authority too access the same information as the client call center.
