Issues have been brought up with the staff, but nothing has changed for years.
Everything the sanctuary does seems to be enabling versus helping.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Santuary is a place where the staff are the most non-judgmental, kindhearted, and compassionate people I have ever met. They don't discriminate against anyone and provide the best help they can to the needest people who the rest of society sweeps under the rug. We desperately need more places like the Santuary for our homeless community. Homelessness is a big problem in Toronto and as a society we need to help those in need.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They help the homeless , give out food and harm reduction items. One of Torontos drug culture hang outs. I heard they also give out tents ⛺. No place for children ! I think there's a portapotty .? some very friendly people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good and caring staff and volunteers such as Dr. Lam, Alan Beattie, Simon, Andrea, Lorraine, Natasha, Anna, Mathew, Louie, Josephine, Tonia and among others. They provide some of your healthcare needs, clothings, meal program. You can go inside and eat(3 persons at a time for half hour.) . I am really glad that I got connected to their services which I find them helpful. Some of the clients are rough but I am very selective to whom I interact with. Highly recommend.
