Would not recommend this company if you are looking for a timely and predictable delivery. They were contracted by Home Depot for an order of ours and delivery was delayed by a week and then an appointment was set and no one showed up all day. It was then rescheduled for the next week when they knew we needed it by a specific date and were not going to be at the delivery site the week after (which was already 2 weeks more than the longest guaranteed delivery date from Home Depot)...very disappointing. The people on the phone are nice, but all talk and no action/accountability.

They delivered a BBQ i ordered with my Aeroplan points. My daughter was home and asked them politely if the can bring around the backyard as there is no front yard in my townhome. The path to the back is four steps that are more than wide enough for anyone with a hand dolly. They refused and left in the garage where i have to move it when i get home They called to let me know they are coming and when i told them they had already come and i was unhappy all she could say was OK the item is there. Guess they feel that service is not that important. Guess i should be happy they stopped and unloaded it and not just driven by and dropped off the back of the truck. Would NEVER use them or recommend this firm to anyone. I see a lot of one star reviews and i agree that if there was a zero i would have gone that route as well. We ship a lot of items across Western Canada and made sure they are on our NO use list.

I was contacted to schedule a delivery to ensure I would be home. We set it up for many days later so that I could make sure I was home along with very clear delivery instructions, which they ignored. The package arrives and they do not come to the door. They also do not knock or ring the doorbell and instead leave a very expensive package not at the door but at the end of my drive way. Wouldn't recommend the company for anything worth a lot of money or if you are at all worried about having your item stolen because this company certainly isn't worried about it or going to take any measure to protect your items at all.

Never use this firm if you have any choice in the matter. They're utterly incompetent and slow as hell. Last Day If Ever is a more appropriate name. I placed an order for 100 2' x2' rubber paving blocks with Home Depot. No problem with Home Depot, but Same Day was a problem. * Tracking is pitiful. Never updated, so you don't have any idea what's happening with your order. * I've received stuff faster from China, Japan, US, and UK faster than this delivery. * Three weeks after the order was accepted by Home Depot, and after a few calls trying to find out the status of the order, I got a call from a Same Day rep about the delivery, which she told me was in Richmond at that time, about an hours drive from me. She wanted to book an appointment for the upcoming Wednesday, three days away. Unfortunately, I had to go to the hospital for surgery that day. * The rep said she could make it happen Tuesday. That's when I found out that they were going to drop the delivery - two pallets of 2 foot by 2 foot paving blocks, 100 of them - at the curb or in the driveway. I was a bit alarmed. I have to get the vehicle out, and the blocks could be stolen before I was well enough to carry them into the yard. * She said she could arrange a two man delivery, and they could deliver to the other side of the fence. * She said she'd get back to me with the cost, but never did. * shipping with a Hiab to set the pallets of blocks over the fence was going to cost me 500 extra. I declined. * I called Home Depot, but home depot couldn't get through to Same Day. * I called the Same Day Richmond terminal, but the automated answering machine kept hanging up on me. * Further calls to Home Depot got the info that the blocks would arrive today, and I'd be called an hour before arrival. * The blocks never arrived at all. I finally called Home Depot and cancelled the order. Never use this delivery firm.

I read all the negative reviews and was wondering if I would ever see my shipment from Home Depot, but it just arrived on my driveway now. I ordered it on Sept. 11 and today is Sept. 24. I would have got it on Sept. 20 but the two pieces of the shipment ended up on two different trailers. I found the customer service very efficient except they didn't call me like they said they would. I also don't find the transit times for shipments within Canada that out of the ordinary. And I order a lot of stuff online. As for the people that didn't like their orders left on their driveway, the big carriers do this too.

See a lot of negative reviews so I’m thankful that nothing bad happened to me and my experience was excellent. I ordered some chairs from Walmart since I’m trying to avoid going to stores for things I don’t need. The lady from the office called me to schedule a delivery day and time. She was very kind and accommodating and acted in a super professional way. We quickly found a day and time that worked great since I’m working from home right now. She even asked if I preferred to be called or buzzed since I’m in a building. I’m having issues with my buzzer so I was super happy she offered to have the driver call. The driver called me when he was there and was super nice to my step mom who went down and got my package and even my dog who went with her. She said he was really kind and professional and we had no issues.

Wasnt there to recieve. Left slip saying left at ikea. Didnt answer phone ended up going to 2 different ikeas waited in line at both locations. 2 weeks after initial missed delivery trying to arrange pick up and still have not received. Apparently take over a day to request for pick up. Garbage.

My parents ordered a dresser for our daughter (due in July) from Toys R Us. When it was delivered the delivery driver claimed that because it was shipped by "ground" they only deliver to the ground floor, but later changed the story to be "if we paid more they would have sent 2 delivery people" and that's why he knows he's not suppose to bring it up the stairs, which excuse is it?. So best course of action was to leave a hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise in my apartments parking lot and said "you should hire movers to come bring that up". At this point you haven't even delivered it to the address you were paid to deliver to. Don't use this business, absolute garbage.
