J'ai adoré mon expérience dans cette boutique. Les dame qui m'ont accueilli étaient très attentionnées et m'ont aidé dans mon choix ainsi qu'à chaque détail concernant la robe. Elles m'ont fait un bon prix et m'ont accommodé pour les modifications à faire sur la robe. Employées très professionnelles dans leur domaine! MERCI! ps: Trouver LA robe en une seule après midi c'est un miracle!
I loved my experience in this shop. The ladies who greeted me were very attentive and helped me with my choice as well as every detail about the dress. They gave me a good price and accommodated me for the changes to make on the dress. Very professional employees in their field! THANK YOU! ps: Finding the dress in one afternoon is a miracle!

My wife had a terrible experience here. Incredibly rude towards my mother-in-law and bridal party. Avoid if you don’t want any possible complications.

Wonderful ladies that helped me with my dress and did it on very short notice - I was travelling from Toronto to Montreal that weekend and only told them on Wednesday that I would need the dress by Friday PM. I would recommend to anyone. Thanks!

I absolutely love the whole staff. They ordered all the dresses for my wedding and for my sister's wedding. We never had to worry about anything and I'll find any excuse to go in and say hello to the staff there whenever I go by.

I brought my wedding dress to La Mariée Kathy and had a very disappointing experience. I never write reviews (ever), but really wanted to warn future brides about this establishment. They didn’t even ask me for a phone number or name when I made my initial appointment (apt). When I got there, the seamstress rolled her eyes and exhaled deeply when I told her I had an apt. She didn’t say hello, instead she signaled me with her hand to follow her to a dressing room. She didn’t speak to me once, instead she spoke Italian to her colleagues and nodded when I asked her anything. I got to the cash and was very surprised that the alterations were going to cost 340 $. I figured this was normal and paid the 40 % deposit. I want to stress that the alterations included taking the dress in on the waist and shortening the straps. I explained to the cashier that I had forgotten my veil (I wanted to get it steamed), she asked me to mention that when I make my 2nd apt to pick up my dress so that they could get the steamer ready. When I was informed my dress was ready, I asked the woman if they could also steam my veil when I picked up my dress. She told me it could take some time (45 minutes). She couldn’t guarantee how long it would take. I told her I lived far away and would really appreciate if they could do it while I try on my dress. She told me to bring it to the drycleaner’s and that it wasn’t part of their 340 $ service. I stopped arguing and made my 2nd apt. When I showed up to my apt, the store was closed. I waited 15 minutes, the employee was on lunch. She informed me that there were no appointments registered and that the seamstress wouldn’t be in all day. She recommended I come back to try my dress on with her. At this point, I no longer wanted to deal with them. I tried on my dress, it was still very loose around my waist and was crooked. The employee told me that if I needed more alterations it would be EXTRA! I left with my dress and brought it to Fil Elegant at 1000 de la Gauchetiere. Ali (the owner) is amazing. He made me come back 3 times because he wanted it to be perfect. He charged me 70 $ and fell off his chair when he found out how much they had charged me. He had to open the dress up and could not believe how poorly the dress was altered; it was only taken in on one side which is what made is crooked. Before writing this review, I called the owner Kathy, I tried to reason with her. Of course, she was very defensive. In a nutshell, she said I should have come back with my dress so that she could see because my word meant absolutely nothing to her, she was rude and disregarded any feedback I gave her. She said that they have a lot of work and all their customers love their service. I made this google account to write a review. That’s how unpleasant and horrid my experience was. Wedding planning is expensive and hard enough, save yourself the time, money and effort.

Wonderful staff, wonderful service. From the second I walked in they treated me like I was the most important person there. After a brief conversation they immediately pulled out the perfect dress for me. My alterations were done in a timely manner and the price was comparable to other quotes I received. Thank you so much for my beautiful dress. I will be directing any future brides I know straight to your shop.
