The staff is very friendly. There’s no indoor seating, but they have terrace on both side of the shop. Their chai latte and pain Batard (Sourdough Bread) were delicious. We also got the Camellia tea bag 20g for 14$. Must try if you enjoy flavoured sense.

Unfortunately my experience was not as pleasant as other clients. I found the staff a bit cold when I visited around noon on a Sunday. The croissant was dry and not the delicate, flaky pastry I was expecting. As for the bread it was clearly overcooked as the back of it was burnt and tasted horrible and it was so hard it literally wounded your mouth when you tried to eat it. I was quite disappointed.

I’ve been coming here since literally Day One and I’ve always appreciated them. Now, with the pandemic, that goes double. (The ability to order ahead and pick up at the window is great.) The care and craft that Automne puts into everything they make is astounding. Over the years, I’ve taken many a visitor here as an example of the best Montreal has to offer; they’ve always loved it as much as I have.

So sad that we came a bit late (11:30am) and they had run out of croissants due to a busy morning. ? Ended up getting a slice of tomato and basil flat bread and it was delicious. The bread was fresh and tasted better the more you chewed on it. The tomato, cheese and basil were the perfect toppings! Can’t wait to come back next time for croissants! ?

Oh boy, how do you start? Go early, worth the wait in line and buy just a bit more than you think you should. We ate one croissant just outside the door, at a table they provide, no inside seating, so as it gets colder you may want a coffee shop in mind to bring these jewels. We bought a ginger cookie $2.35 (I would hold off on the cookies and put your money on the bread, croissants or to die for quiche), the cookie was tasty and good but held up against the items we purchased...nope! I'd go back for the bread. The Light, fluffy, crunchy, crusty croissant $1.75. I believe they use rice flour...double yum! We bought another croissant-like pastry (I forgot the name) it is seasonal with apples. Perfect for autumn! the bread we decided on is only available Tues/Thus/Sat - Khorasan blueberries + candied ginger $ 5.50 Made from Milanese white organic Khorasan flour, water, sea salt, yeast, blueberries + candied ginger, we toasted at home with lightly salted butter...yum! The quiche was so creamy, thick, cheesy but not over powering. The gentleman that helped us with our order helped us decide on the quiche and so happy he told us about this vegetarian item. Go early. Enjoy! Less than 15 minutes was worth the wait!

I got there today at 3:45pm snd snatched the last croissant, so go early if you want choices. The outside of the croissant was tougher than I like, but still good. The inside was light and moist; so lovely!

Great croissants! I did feel judged by the guy behind the counter for not saying croissant the French way, but worth a visit. Came here at 10:30am on a Friday and there were plenty of croissants and other pastries left. There was a slight line close to 11am but it went by quickly. Croissant had a lovely cross section as well. Latte was good too.

Excellent croissants and chocolate chips cookies; so buttery and yummy!! The olive bread was awesome as well! The coffee was just ok; had an Americano to go with sugar and milk/cream. Friendly service.
