I like this store. Lots of good stuff.However do not get hair dying tips from the staff. It was the manager who fried my hair with some horrible advice. They are not hairstylists. In fact they should hire some for that department.

Be able to pay online and order online for pick up like every other store right now. Most frustrating place I have shopped via curbside pick up. You can only pay with VISA as well so very limiting and not outstanding customer service. I will not shop here after COVID, I’d rather use Chatters.

I have spent the past 30 years in customer service primarily as a trainer for national retail chains and this is my story from Wednesday November 18, 2020 I drove for 2 hrs to get to my closest Sally after a nasty hair colouring booboo. -Barrie's Sally Beauty Supply. All I can say is WOW!! I entered the store and was greeted by Freshta, asking "Hi, how are you today?" "Not good" I answered. This almost black hair, was not supposed to look like this, I said... Freshta has, hands down, the best customer service of anyone anywhere, in any industry, that I have experienced in probably, the past 5 years. Not only was she beyond helpful, she was exceptionally patient with me, she didn't try to oversell me on anything, she suggested DIY solutions and, she followed up, texting me to make sure that every thing worked out ok. Freshta is the type of employee that every employer would kill to have an entire crew of, and one that shoppers can appreciate as she is not pushy or rushed, not rude or short. She is knowledgeable and kind. She explained things on a level that my own salon has never explained - and I pay them really good money. She wasn't condescending like many of today's younger sales staff. She was truly a gem, in my "hour of need". I will go back, probably long before I head back to the over priced salon. I managed to remove the colour from my hair, recolour it to what I had originally expected it to be and, I was under $50. I recall having this done over 10 yrs ago at a salon in Oakville and I was over $300.00. Oh - and i forgot to mention, she totally nailed the new/old colour with no pics to reference. So Amazing. Thank you Freshta for making a really bad day so much better!

Since Covid the Barrie location has been pretty much impossible to shop with. They have 1 phone line 2 employees and 0 customer service skills You are luvky to get theough on the phone. If you go to the store with no order, you are told to phone, hen you said you try, they tell you "yea, we only have 1 phone line and we are on it all day. You can order online but not for curbsise". Self care is a big deal right now, maybe get a 2nd phone line But then again we have no where else to go, so why not make it difficult for your customers when they have no other options. I really liked you store until this.

I absolutely love my trips to Sally's, the staff are always amazing, sporting the latest hair colours and super helpful! Makeup, nails, hair and more .. your one stop shop for everything pretty ???

I have issues doing highlights. Followed the directions but it didn't take at all. I went back and they were very nice. They exchanged for some new stuff free of charge. They are very knowledgeable and know what they're talkin about when it comes to the hair products for sure.

Recently purchased a Mother’s Day Gift basket, I called into the store and I will not lie I am not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to beautification products, but I had great assistance from both the Manager Nikki with recommendations for things that may be enjoyed as well as Aleks who both contributed to making a custom gift basket for my Mum, this means a great deal to me as a lot of care and thought was put into it. I just wanted to say thank you very much for making my Mom’s day today! Without these ladies Great customer support and an amazing recommendations, I would have just gotten flowers delivered ? now I’m my mom can pamper herself like she deserves and I am so happy! 10/10 would recommend! Awesome Customer Service Have some patience with the Phone lines, when you do get through, this amazing team will do their best to make you’re day! They sure did for me! Thank you Sally’s Team

Always a great experience. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the shelves are always well stocked. Yes, the parking lot can suck sometimes, but most of the time I thankfully I usually luck out! Store is very well organized and easy to navigate.
