★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big, brand new store right on Jasper ave (west end of jasper). Free underground parking. The store was bright, clean and well stocked. Our cashier went above and beyond processing our transaction. We will be shopping at this location from now on

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Check-out staff at this location are the most pleasant, polite, and helpful of any Edmonton Safeway I have visited. The opposite could be said for the 104 Ave Safeway, and is why I will no longer shop at that Safeway. The Jasper Avenue location is the very best choice for customer satisfaction.

The deli staff need some serious help, and training. Its better to grab the premade sandwiches. It takes the average deli staff over 5 minutes to prepare a sandwich. Why? But the convenience of the location, is so excellent!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Management is clearly clueless about pricing. 2 days ago, bought a 1 lbs of organic baby carrots. On SALE!!! $3.60 Other stores sell on sale between 99 cents and $2.00 Came home. The entire package was covered in mold.
I was waiting for this store for years because of convenience. Shopping at NoFrills instead (couple of streets away), saves me enough money to cover current fuel and insurance costs for entire month.
Now, I will be watching it go out of business, just like Planet Organics that was there before Safeway. Mark my words!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ my first visit to the new Safeway. was a bit smaller than I expected but was really clean and bright. didn't have everything I needed or a natural aisle. the checkouts are quite small and limited. the staff were really friendly. it was expensive, like most Safeways, but is a good addition for downtown

Love free underground parking!
However, very overpriced. For a family of 2, we figured we would pay about extra $300 - $400 a month to shop here. So, basically, it is an emergency store for us(milk, bread, etc.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location! Happy to see Safeway take over the old Planet Organic. I think this makes much more sense for the area. Very clean, neat and tidy store. From the bakery, to meats and produce, everything is very well laid out.
Great prices, nice store design, very happy customer. Two thumbs up!!
