β β β β β Wonderful vegetation and probably birds at the right time of day. Observation tower is worth climbing the $500 steps. Encouraged to stop here one day when traveling North on hwy 1. Watch the exit is more like a driveway on the side of the highway.

β β β β β Love going here for a peaceful walk. A shame how people deface and ruin the installations especially the wonderful tower.

β β β β β This is a great spot for a short walk. Boardwalk trail with interpretive signs make easy to navigate and appreciate. We visited it as a rest stop on our way from Victoria to Nanaimo.
