★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the pleasure of working with Christina when I was told by a Lactation Consultant that my 2 month old son had a posterior tongue tie. She gave me the contact information for Cowichan Valley Craniosacral and I am so glad I booked an appointment. Christina was so knowledgeable and gentle and I am so grateful for her expertise. She did a tongue tie assessment and just after a few sessions and working diligently with the exercises she gave us, she concluded that my son in fact had a faux tongue tie and it wouldn’t need to be surgically cut.
3 years later, I have a thriving 3 year old who did in fact not need his tongue clipped. I was able to strengthen his tongue muscles and coordination with Christina’s sessions and exercises and eventually was able to stop pumping after each time I nursed him. This was a life saver- I didn’t have to pump, my son was gaining weight again, and no more mastitis!! Thank you Christina!
Also, after each session with Christina she emailed me a detailed summary of what we went over and what exercises to do which was so valuable for a sleep deprived mother like myself.
I highly recommend Cowichan Valley Craniosacral!
