★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worked with a lawyer at this firm for two matters - corporate and Estate. In both cases he way overcharged. Incomplete work, failure to meet agreed upon deadlines, failure to grasp urgency on issues, gross errors (ex wrong name of deceased, mention of a will where there was none) and inappropriate comments. We would send inquiry, which I don't object being billed for, but had to follow up so many times - each time he would charge us for the follow up though he never addressed the actual issue. The bill itself had tonnes of errors including failure to delineate between the two issues for which he was retained resulting in billings for corporate on an Estate it had nothing to do with as well as just basic incorrect math. Also had incompetent assistants - for which he charged a higher rate than was in the original contract. Bottom line - this firm and it's lawyers should not be trusted. I highly advise you seek another firm. Also, know your rights. We took this firm to assessment and had our bill reduced.

His professionalism, polite manners and ethics are highest standards. Shawn and Kateryna's friendly environment, knowledge and honesty had walked us through the hurdles we had last minutes during our house closing. I ended up coordinating with the legal assistant regarding documents and signed papers rather than the lawyer who was busier. However, during our closing date meeting he was professional and easy to talk to.
Highly recommend them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purchased a house which closed during the covid shutdown in April. Recognize this is an adjustment for all parties, however we had a very poor experience.
The down payment calculations were incorrect and it took many emails and many hrs on our side to rectify the issue. It also took a number of emails/ pushing to get the spelling of my name corrected throughout all documents. Furthermore based on another lawyer friend we were also over charged for a few items.
As a first time home buyer this was a very unfortunate experience but has made us much more aware of the calculations, forms, and process. I do not plan to use this firm again for future transactions.
