One of the worse store that I’ve ever gone. The seller was really really disrespectful. The way that he (His name was Bob) acted was really insulting. I just wanted to return an item (which I received as my birthday gift) but he shook his head and returned my money as a store credit. There are many stores and brands across the country that we can buy our clothes and it doesn’t really worth buying your stuff in this F… store which doesn’t respect their customers.

Just visited the store. Bad customer service by the lady there. She told me she can’t fix the issue I had. My issue was to get a shoe that would fit me comfortably with my orthotics. ?‍♂️ Is that too much to ask for??

This morning we went to the Markham Hwy 7 Runing Room. I was looking for the Asics GT 2000 9 2E, as I had seen on their site that that store had my size 10 in stock. Right when I entered the store and said, "I am looking for a men's Asics GT 2000 9," he abruptly interrupted and said, "we don't have it." I said, "well, I am looking for the 2000 9 in a men's size 10." Then he said, "Oh, I have that." The man's name was Bob. He is the Manager. And the rest of the visit consisted of me attempting to explain myself and him abruptly cutting me off EVERY TIME and going off talking about what HE thought I was going to say, but wasn't--I actually couldn't finish what I was trying to say. It was so frustrating. I'm a pretty patient person, but I couldn't take him not listening to me. I learned a lot about him, though--too much, actually. He has a wide size 10.5 foot, he walks 6 km in his store during the day, and a few more after work, he's been selling shoes about 40 years (so he is an expert), etc, etc. I just couldn't get in a word edge wise. I finally had it and after trying to ask another question and him interrupting said, "I wasn't finished talking." And then the rudest thing happened--he let me finish my question while he walked away from me!! I couldn't believe it! I decided I wouldn't give him my business. I walked up to him and said, "I don't usually do this, but I feel I need to say something. If you are teachable, I would try to listen to your customers more. I feel like you weren't really listening to me." He said, I'm sorry you feel that way." I said, "because of that I don't want to give you my business" and walked out. BTW, I then went to another local shoe store where the lady told me she gets many customers from the Markham Running Room because of the rude guy that works there! Just wow!

As a beginner runner, I knew nothing about what I needed to get started. I am so thankful Bob was working the day I went in. Bob was super friendly, not rushed, and knew absolutely anything & everything you could possibly need to know about running. Bob carefully measured my foot, watched my walking patterns, and fitted me with the proper shoe. From there Bob carefully explained all of the other basics to get me started. Ownership should be extremely thankful to have Bob on their team. Thanks Bob!!

Was more than satisfied with the Manager and his coworker. An abundance of knowledge in regards to eunning and recovery techniques. As well made some calls for my in regards to cycling needs to another store not related to Running Room. Thanks alot guys!

Don't go here if you're looking for any sort of technical help with a shoe. They don't watch you walk to see you pronate, (for example). They don't feel the top of the shoe to see if it's too tight unless you ask. They can't be bothered to do the basics so don't expect anything more. I hope they don't work on commission because they, (he), certainly doesn't deserve it. Consider this location as 'self-serve'.

Terrible customer service!!! There were two staff, one male near cashier who we presume is the manager whom is happily talking to a customer who is leaving the store, other is a female staff who is sitting on a bench cleaning the shoes. We went in and were not greeted (even when the customer has walk out), the only one who greeted (if you even call it a greeting) was the female who only nodded to us and still sit on the bench cleaning a pair of shoes. We went in to the shoes gallery and I have to explain to my mother the types of shoes there were as there were yellow, pink and orange labels for the shoes (neither the male or female staff) came to us and explain about their products. On our way out, a female customer came and the male staff happily greeted her (I presume it is a common customer as the store manager already knows her name). We are not very happy with this customer service and feel there is a different level of customer service for each customer. I am very disappointed in the customer service, as my mother has the intention to purchase a pair of shoes (she goes out morning walks), my mother is an elder, why does she deserve such treatment ?
